People here the word cranberries, and immediately think of the words TART or SOUR.  However, this product isn't like that at all!  Craisins are small dried fruit that have a very sweet, yet slightly (SLIGHTLY) tart taste.  They taste nothing like you'd imagine Cranberry juice to taste, so relax.  You'll be pleasantly surprised with them.  I promise!

The only con I can think of is that they're so good, I find them addicting.  I can't just eat a handful of them.  But I don't just eat them for the taste.  I have a history of bladder infections, and my doctor recommended that I eat these to...

Anything you can do with a raisin, you can do with a craisin....its that simple.  Snack on them, put them in a lunchbox, bake them into cookies or bread or muffins, or cake...You can add them to a salad to give it an extra punch of sweetness.  You can rehydrate them by steeping in warm water and then use the water to make a wonderfully naturally flavored cup of tea.  I have also used them to glaze ham by mixing them with orange juice, and some clove and basting.  I have used them in marinades for pork or poultry.  They go great in yogourt, and try them mixed with cottage cheese instead of... review »

I tend to be a person who craves salty food.  Unlike most folks, I am almost never tempted by chocolate, caramel, cakes, or cookies.  My taste buds start watering when I smell the buttery aroma of popcorn or the golden brown goodness of french fries.  Since neither of those treats are healthy choices, I get my sodium fix by mixing assorted nuts and cashews with Ocean Spray Craisins.  This way, the saltiness of the nut helps me satisfy my craving and the sweet-tartness of the Craisins helps keep me from filling up on (high-fat) cashews.

One day, I saw a commercial for Ocean Spray Craisins, and...

I don't know what made my wife decide to buy a big bag of Ocean Spray Craisins at Costco. Like everything else at Costco, you have to buy BIG -- the bag of Craisins is 48 ounces (three pounds!) and it costs $6.85. I like cranberry sauce and cranberry beverages, so I agreed with the purchase. Now, I absolutely love Craisins and prefer them to regular old raisins.

Craisins are sweetened dried cranberries. A serving size is about 2.5 ounces, and that contains 130 calories and 33 grams of carbs. To be honest, I don't count calories. I look for fat and try to cut back on that. Good thing I like Craisins,...

My sister has been going on and on about Ocean Spray Craisins for about two years. Not being much of a raisin fan, I've pretty muchignored her raves. In fact, I find raisins to be sickeningly sweet, and finding raisins in a cookie or other food will put me off that food forever.

Last week on a transcontinental flight, instead of pretzels or honey roasted nuts, I was handed a packet of trail mix that had Craisins in it, instead of raisins. I can't believe what I've been missing! Not sickeningly sweet,t he way raisins are, but slightly tart, they're delicious. I immediately went out and bought myself...

During the holidays I always bake cookies, one type of cookie I make are oatmeal raisin... I decided to add Oceanspray Craisins instead of raisins and wow they were a hit with the family. I have used Oceanspray Craisins in a few other recipes that call for raisins and they were very good.

I love to snacks, but sometimes when you are trying to eat healthy and get more fruit in your diet you have trouble conquering your snack cravings.  Ocean Spray Craisins are the perfect fruity snack, because they taste sweet and delicious.  For thos of you that like raisins, this is an even more flavorful treat and is the perfect combination of the sweet taste of ocean spray and the tartness of cranberries.  Cranberries are naturally tart, but each Craisins is offset by a little sweet so each bite is so delicious.  They are the perfect addition to salads and yogurt to add a little pizazz to... review »

As I was sitting here at my desk eating my salad and trying to think of a good subject to review, I realized it was in front of my face.  Craisins!  Now who would ever think this is a review topic.  I wouldn't have even though it would be something I would eat much.  When you go to the warehouse stores, everything comes in giant quantities.  Well, I knew my grandson liked them and was coming to visit, so I end up buying this enormous bag (so I didn't have to go to a grocery store later) and thought "this will last me 5 years!".  I do have to admit, after he ate his fill, this montrous bag...

Ocean Spray Craisins are delicious and healthy.  They're great for snacking right out of the pouch, or adding to recipes, cereals, yogurt, or salads, etc. The only ingredients are cranberries and sugar.  They are fat free and a serving has 3g of fiber.

I regularly buy a large size bag from a warehouse club so I can always have on hand, and purchase at a reasonable price.  I look for snacks that don't have artificial ingredients, that I can feel good about serving to my family.  This is one that we all like. I especially like that it's a versatile product which makes it easy, with just 1/3 cup,...

Craisins, a sweetened dried cranberry, has put pizzazz in my salads, cereals, and granola mixes.  These tiny little fruits can be carried in your purse without mushing all over the place.  They don't go bad within a few days and are an excellent pick me up when you just plain need something to snack on.
Do be careful though--they certainly are not calorie free and can be addictive.(in a healthy sense).
Try these little gems on your plain oatmeal, or in your yogurt for lunch--makes you feel like you are having a special treat.  They are also great in cookies in place of raisins/or even mix them...

Ocean Spray craisins are one of the best additions to any salad. I will add them along with almonds and either feta cheese or shredded mozzarella. The cranberries just put a nice twist on the salad, especially when using a tangy dressing like balsamic vinegrette...I also will make a mix of craisins and sliced almonds and eat them as a snack. These cranberries can be sprinkled on top of your favorite bran cereal or eaten by themselves as a delicious treat. The one down side is that cranberries do have a lot of sugar in them so you may not want to eat too many and diabetics may want to steer clear...

I am hooked on Ocean Spray Craisins!  I eat them just as a snack and even on salads.  It is a great way for me to enjoy the benefits of cranberries without the bitter juice.  They are one of my favorite snacks when I am having girl problems.  I love the cherry flavored, though I am not a huge fan of the orange flavor.  My favorites are the cranberry and chocolate trail mix and the cranberry and nut trail mix.  The sweet and salty mixture is an unbeatable cure for a snack craving.  I definately recomment Ocean Spray Craisins to every snacker.

I LOVE Ocean Spray- Craisins! I really do. I first tried craisins about 2 or 3 years ago and when I finished the bag I had to have more. Today I use them in everything. I use them in my special oatmeal chocoalte cookies. I use them in many of the things I bake. I use them in my chicken salad. I eat them by the handful. I place them in my kids' lunchboxes. I make a trail mix with craisins, a nut variety and something like marshmellows. I only wish there was an organic version and or one with less qauntity of sugar (without changing the taste).

I absolutely love these. They are wonderful it I'm hungry and don't feel like cooking. They are full of flavor and have just the right amount of tang. They fill you up very quickly as well. They are absolutely delicious. They are easily addicting.  I really don't like how expensive they are. When you are on a budet, they are not a great thing to buy. Other than that, they are wonderful.

I use Crasins in place of raisins all the time!  We use Crasins in cookies (especially for Oatmeal Crasin cookies) and in muffins.  My boys eat them as a snack.  We use Crasins on our salads.  Crasins can be added to trail mix, granola, nut mix, and so much more!  They are great in so many dishes - just try them with this and that and find a favorite or two!
