I've had a lot of bars but I've never been in love before.

To the Point

I first found and fell in love with LARABAR when I was offered a sample in Whole Foods. I walked out of the store with a dozen of them.

Lara, the founder of these wonderful bars describes her moment like this: “It stared on a hike in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado. Little did I know I was about to come up with a mountain of an idea: Combine wholesome ingredients such as fruits and nuts to create a food product that's tasty, healthy and convenient. In that instant, in May 2000, LARABAR (with two dots over the A) was born.”

i love food bars. i always have. they are convenient and good for you. you can grab them anywhere, and there are so many that taste great. for the longest time i had been eyeing larabars but never tried them. then one day my local grocery store was having a clearance sale on the jocolat flavored larabars. i grabbed a couple for 50 cents a piece. omg!!! it was love at first bite! i swear, it tasted just like a brownie. which lead me to try them warmed up. equally as delicious! i now eat them on the regular. many flavors and many ways of eating them. they are a staple in my home.

Very nutritious and very tasty!

I have tried nearly all of the Larabar flavors, and I am hard-pressed to find a favorite, because I love them all! I love the fact that there are no preservatives, and it's all natural and raw food that is jam-packed with nutrition. I eat these to substitute fruit when I'm at work - they're great to toss in an office drawer! My only complaint is that I can't seem to find the new Coconut flavor anywhere close - I tried it once and it is heavenly.

As somone who is allergic to soy and wants healthful, natural snacks, the LARABAR is the perfect bar. Nuts and fruit, how much more simple could it be? And the taste is wonderful! There are enough flavors to make anyone happy, but I happen to love the Key Lime Pie, Cinnamon Bun, and any of the chocolate flavors. With every single bite, I feel good about what I am putting into my body and my body feels satisfied!

I really like these. They are all vegan and natural. They do claim to be raw, but the ones with cocoa powder are not, so if you give one to a raw friend, avoid the chocolate kind. All of these are good, but my favorites are the cherry pie and pecan pie. It is suprising how good simple fruits and nuts can be.
