For Christmas, each of my boys (ages 6 and 9) received onyx black Nintendo DS Lite Consoles.  I honestly didn't know much about these little game consoles and what they could do.  After seeing the excitement on my sons' faces, I realized that they must be pretty special.  … read full review »

I've had every game boy since the original - in fact, I still like to play my original Tetris game.  I loved the improvements that came with Game Boy Advance, so I was excited when dh gave me this as a gift. — Unlike every other GB incarnation, this one cannot play all old cartridges -… read full review »

The Nintendo Dual Screen (or DS) Lite is the second version of their portable console originally introduced in 2004. The system is not only smaller and more sleek then the older model now but it even comes with a brighter screen with multiple settings as well fans should love. See why if you haven't got a DS yet this is definitely a good time to start. — — The good thing about working at a gamestore is that I can compare the two systems side by side. The big difference between this version over the bulky older DS is definitely the weight. I loved my old DS but it was annoying… read full review »

When you're approaching the half way point in a multi-hour drive, you'll be glad that you bought your kid that Nintendo - DS Lite Console. — Our daughter, Jenna has always been a big electronics and especially Nintendo fan.  Gameboy, Gameboy Advance, Nintendo DS and now the DS Lite.  Put one of these in her hands and she can create magic and entertain herself for hours. — I'm not sure just how many Nintendo Dogs she now has, but they can often be heard barking in the rear seat of our car.  Often when we're traveling with her friends they all play together using… read full review »

The nintendo ds lite has great games that will match the interests of any person.  They offer video games, role playing, board games, strategy, trivia, self-improvement, etc.  The price of the system runs about $130 and I have not seen a game that costs over $40 (many are around $20).  Another plus to this system is that is is equipped to also play GameBoy Advance Game paks.  Other great points about the system is that it has a touch screen and it is equipped with the ability to chat and multiplayer with wireless WiFi. —… read full review »

I am twenty years old and I got this two years ago for Christmas. And I love it!! I love video games in general of course. But this makes it so that I can travel. I can play games on the bus. Its also great because most of the games for the DS are puzzle games and those are my favorite. I also love that it has two screens it makes it even more fun. I would say that regardless of age you should get this. Its great. —… read full review »

This is a great handheld, and certainly not just for kids! The ability to use a stylus and interact more directly by means of a touchscreen, and the integrated microphone, make for great fun  and more realistic experiences in games. Need to blow something in the game? Forget about the usual "choose an action"; now you get to blow it for real by blowing on the microphone. Another great feature of the Nintendo DS is its ability to connect through Wi-Fi and allow you to interact with other gamers in certain games, or even just meet each others in chatrooms called Pictochats. There's no… read full review »

The Nintendo Ds Lite console is an interesting and fun item. You can chat with your friends, you can link up with friends to play the same games too. It can play Nintendo DS games or the other Gameboy Advance games. The light is bright and can be played in the dark. Having a rechargable battery is great and not having to worry about purchasing batteries is great. — I feel the system is tough and durable and can vary from users from young like preschool on up. A good buy in todays society of video game playing, —… read full review »

The DS is fantastic!  My daugher loves it.  I am not one to let my children sit around and play games all day just to keep them out of my hair.  But, we are on the go a lot.  We travel frequently and this helps to keep my daughter occupied during long trips.  A variety of games are available.  All games appear to be appropriate for children.  My daughter had no problems figuring out how to use the DS.  It seems to be pretty… read full review »

I received the Nintendo DS Lite as a gift.  I was interested in the Brain Age games and Flash Focus.  I have enjoyed playing both games and several others also.  The Ds Lite is easy to use and light weight.  It can be carried alsmost anywhere.  I have had no problems using it and I am one of the most technically inclined people around. … read full review »

My husband bought me a Coral Pink Nintendo DS for Valentine's Day.  I have always wanted one, but I never spent a huge amount of time playing them, I never really got hooked.  I have to say, this is the best handheld video game system I have ever played.  I am a huge fan of Nintendo because I have always been hooked on Mario games and Zelda games, they are so addicting. —      My favorite color is pink, so naturally that it what I had to have.   But it also comes in black, white, blue and crimson.  My three year… read full review »
