Probably the worst natural shampoo I've ever used!
Just about all of my body care products are all natural. Most have been great products that I have purchased more than once, but unfortunately, Natures Gate Pomegranate Sunflower Hair Defense Shampoo is a product that I will never buy again. **Natures Gate Pomegranate Sunflower Hair Defense Shampoo** is made with all natural ingredients, isn't tested on animals, is paraben-free and petroleum-free. It is a shampoo designed for hair that is styled, processed, color-treated or affected by the environment. It is by far, the best smelling shampoo that I've ever used. Unfortunately, that's all it has going for it. Natures Gate says the following about this product: - Contains the strengthening benefits of horsetail and sage - Infused with an array of botanicals targeted to help revitalize distressed hair - Helps promote shiny, vibrant, healthy-looking hair I wonder if I washed my hair everyday, would I still experience this problem, or is it just not clarifying enough for every other wash? Regardless, I wouldn't buy this shampoo or its matching [conditioner][2] again. It's too bad, because the scent and the ingredients are both great. In between washings, I use my wonderful [Blow Faux Dry dry shampoo][1] , and that takes care of oil on my roots. When I have used **Natures Gate Pomegranate Sunflower Hair Defense Shampoo**, you could *almost* tell I never shampooed my hair. Yes, my roots do look somewhat better, but not totally clean. What's the point in a shampoo if it doesn't thoroughly clean my hair? Yesterday after using this shampoo, I had to put my hair up because I couldn't stand the feeling of my hair. That's bad Scent I would give this shampoo 5 stars if the rating was based on scent. It smells like pomegranate, cranberries and a general fruitiness that is amazing.
