I am no domestic goddess but I have fallen for a muscular bald man with an earring (which isn't out of the realm of possibility for me). That man is ... Mr. Clean. Actually, I love what he has to offer more than I do him. He has made cleaning easy!

The Eraser
This is a more advanced version of the prior Magic Erasers. The product is a white 4 1/2" x 2 1/2" x 3/4" sponge with a rippled texture and a curvy, easy to grip shape.

I was never a Mr Clean fanatic as some folks are. The liquid cleaner doesn't come close to my steamer that I use for everything. Then I was at a grand opening of a new Wal-Mart in Cleveland's Steelyards & a demo was in the store with Mr Clean erasers. Some have sponges on one side, the other is all white. 2 to a pack for $1.68 & I watched her do white patio furniture that was gray in color & it was coming out white with just water & the Mr Clean Eraser. She states it get food off walls, crayon marks on floors or wall, etc. So I bought it.
Went home & got our table & 4 resin chairs...

After my roommate at the time used them to clean some caked on muck a suitemate had left in the fridge, I was hooked.
Now I use it for everything. It's the ONLY thing to get the grime out of the shower, and there's no strong odor that is with it.

I have never seen a sponge do what the Magic Eraser can do! It will cut through grease, grime, dirt, mildew, just about anything you can imagine...and all you have to do is wet it and go. I use it to clean the kitchen sink, counters, bathtubs, floors, outdoor furniture - I've even used it to clean love bugs off the front of our cars (though the package says not to use it on automotive paint, but I've never had it do any damage). If you live in the south and have experienced the wonder that is love bugs...you know how difficult it is to get them off the car once they've dried and baked on...

So I bought my box of magic erasers for about $3.99 which I thought was a little high. I decided to give it a try on my glass top stove. Every time I cook on it I have to scrub it. I wet the sponge and I swear I didn't have to scrub hard! I wiped over the cook top and everything was spotless.
I thought if it did that well I'll try it other places. The white handle on my refrigerator was stained with ick so... review »
