I got this vacuum cleaner as a Christmas present from my parents and I have to say, it's definitely the best gift I've received in years. When I opened the box, it was very easy to assemble. I was able to start using it within minutes! It comes standard with an attachment for tile/hardwood floors as well as a crevice tool, the brush tool for baseboards, and one for furniture. Since I have a longhaired cat, I knew I needed lots of options and lots of power. This vacuum cleaner did NOT disappoint! In fact, at times the suction was so powerful that it was slightly difficult to drag it across the floor. Maneuverability The vacuum is so light and the attachments fit on the body nicely. Suction Performance As I said before, the suction was so powerful that there were a few times I actually had trouble dragging it across the floor! (I didn't mind - I'd MUCH rather this be the case than have to go over one area several times.)

Overall this is well engineered and built. It is like driving a well built car.. you can just tell the moment you touch it. Even the plug is well built. They did not skimp on any aspect of the design. It is very easy to push and has great suction. I was able to clean carpeted stairs while moving the canister easily from stair to stair. The slim profile helps with this. Maneuverability Nice long telescoping handle; turns on a dime; lightweight. Ease of Maintenance I find the bag full indicator comes on a little early... shake the bag up and close the lid again. Suction Performance Very nice. Versatility Goes easily from one surface to another. Design Well designed Durability I am saying good.. because I just don't know.. this is a recent purchase.

This is, by far, the best vacuum cleaner I have ever used or owned. I have two children under 4, no pets. It is powerful, quiet, light weight and stores easily. The retractable cord is a nice feature. Also, I love the fact there is a full-bag indicator on the vacuum unit, so I know when to swap it out. I love this vacuum so much that I named her "Rosita". And I know it is a female...only a woman would clean a house this well. Maneuverability It is a breeze to use. It is very light and follows me easily as I vacuum around the house. I can get under sofas, chairs, my dining room table, and around two kids parked in front of the TV. Ease of Maintenance Easy to swap bags, filters, and there is a groove in the brush head to allow for scissors to cut hair and string from the brush roll. Suction Performance Excellent. Rogue Cheerios don't stand a chance. Our carpet is 15 year old Berber. When I used the vacuum for the first time, it picked up dirt and debris from under the carpet that had been there a long time...I could hear it in the hose. It sounded like a sandstorm. It also brought back some of the height to the carpet in my office that had been previously matted down. Versatility I have used it to vacuum carpets, tile, curtains, furniture, upholstery, baseboards, door tracks, and window sills. There is a tool appropriate for each job. The dial will allow you to adjust the suction power for the proper surface. I can carry it out to the car and clean my kid-customized ride, complete with raisins and goldfish crackers tucked into the crevices. There isn't anything left behind when I am done. Design Sleek, cute, and red. Who doesn't love red appliances? Durability My 16 month old son insist on riding Rosita around the house while I vacuum. He also steps on the hose, tries to chew the cord and occasionally gets a hold of my brush attachments when I am not looking. They have held up tremendously well...and they have a 7 year warranty just in case.

I am in love with this vacuum. I always had an upright and after a while it lost suction no matter how often I washed the filters or emptied the canister. My mother in-law has this same vacuum and I used it while visiting one day and it was love at first use! That Christmas we got one as a gift! Best gift ever! There is a dail to change the suction based on what you are vacuuming and the on board tools are super easy to change. Its super light weight and is easy to use on the stairs. Its a little pricey but worth every penny! My only complaint would be that a longer cord would be helpful but its definitely not a deal breaker.

My husband and I got this vacuum after we moved into our new house. I was several months pregnant and I was having a lot of Back problems. My self propelled upright was great for the cottage that we were living in but I needed something lighter for our two story house. The Miele was just the ticket. It is light... very light. I had no issues getting it up and down the stairs. It is sturdy. I have picked it up by the hose and actually dropped it off the stairs a few times. The only issue might be the cost. It is rather expensive. However, after looking into it my husband and I found out that the cost to repair it and the expected life of the vacuum makes it worth it in my book. Another major plus for us the the sound (or lack thereof!) both our boys sleep soundly while I vacuum! It has a HEPA filter which is helpful for those with allergies. This is also a versatile vacuum. we have tile, rugs, curtains, and wall to wall carpeting in our home. The Miele works on all of them!
