High Quality Wet Cat Food

Comments about Merrick Thanksgiving Day Dinner:

Merrick Thanksgiving Day Dinner wet cat food is a grain free, holistic food. It does not contain any artificial colors, flavors, or preservatives. It looks and smells like people food, but made for cats. My cats have been fed this since they were kittens. They still enjoy it as part of a rotating diet. My cats refuse to eat any brand of pate cat food. Luckily, Merrick offers wet food that is in a watery, flavorful sauce where you can actually identify the solid foods in the can. I have joked with my kids that if I had to eat this stuff to survive, I would be OK with it. It truly looks and smells like food meant for people.

Quality of Ingredients
This is one of the highest quality wet cat foods on the market. The first few ingredients are turkey, turkey broth and turkey liver. It does contain some vegetables and fruits, plus vitamins and minerals needed for a healthy cat diet. It is good for all cat stages of life.

Flavor Selection
Merrick wet cat food comes in many flavors. Flavors include turkey, chicken, beef and fish.

Great food but a bit pricey

By

Comments about Merrick Thanksgiving Day Dinner:

A little over three years ago a pregnant stray cat showed up at my house and ended up giving birth to five beautiful kittens. I had read online it, this was the first (and hopefully last) litter I've ever had, that it was easier to transition the kittens on to food with wet food rather then dry so we went with the Merrick foods. The Thanksgiving Day Dinner was by far the kittens and their Mother's, who needed to put on some weight, favorite flavor and honestly I can't blame them it smelt pretty good. I love the fact that Merrick doesn't over process their foods and you can actually see the chunks of real meat and vegetable.

As the kittens got older we transition them to dry food because the Merrick can were getting to be way too expensive going from five kittens to five cats. They do still get their favorite Thanksgiving Day Dinner on special occasions about a half a dozen times a year but not everyday. The only problem is now when I open any can in the house I'm surrounded by hungry meowing cats.

Quality of Ingredients
Merrick food's have great ingredients they are made grain free, so they work well for cats with allergies. This food is free of ingredients from China because they are made with local and fresh ingredients.

Flavor Selection
Merrick has a good selection of flavors that your bound to find one that your cat will love.

Smells like the real thing.

Comments about Merrick Thanksgiving Day Dinner:

So it's the holidays and you're trying to do six things at once in the kitchen, and all of those things are filling up the house with wonderful smells, and the pets are driving you crazy with their being underfoot and their great big soulful "you never feed me the good stuff" eyes (yes, even the cat).

Well, now you can feed them the good stuff without worrying about the onions and other trimmings that are great for you but not for them. Merrick Pet Foods makes a Thanksgiving Day Dinner flavor for both cats and dogs. It smells like the dinner you're having, but it's designed for their teeth, tummies and nutritional needs. Even better than that, it's low on the Glycemic Index, which is good if your dog is getting a little on the tubby side, and great for your cat, whose body is really not designed to process simple carbs.

This easy-open can is, for a change, easy to open. The food within looks great: more pureed than what's going to be on your plate, but the colors of the meat and veggies have the same richness and contrast. And the smell! This stuff smells just like what you're eating, swear. I was actually a little worried about that, because in my experience cats like the stinkiest rankety stank that ever stanked when it comes to their wet food, but my cat went for this with great alacrity.

If you're the designated holiday cook and you've got pets, and for whatever reason locking them into another portion of the house all day is just not going to work, offer them this when they come begging. They'll feel like they didn't miss out, and you'll feel grateful not to have to goose step over them while you're cooking.

FYI, this brand also makes a Turducken flavor.

Flavor Selection
The dog absolutely adores the Thanksgiving Day Dinner flavor, preferring it greatly over the Homecoming Holiday flavor. However, the cat has developed a definite preference for the Turducken flavor. Bottom line, there is a flavor from this brand for every pet.

Meals for the feline royalty in your family

By

Comments about Merrick Thanksgiving Day Dinner:

I am very impressed with the quality of the Merrick cat food products. My cats have tried many of the flavors and are pleased with them all. You can see the quality of human grade product that goes into this cat food. You can see the meat and vegetables and it actually smells like something you would like to eat. It is not the disgusting giggly mush that you see with a lot of canned cat foods. I have a very finicky eater who prefers hard food, but sometimes I need to give him medicine. He will eat it if I mix it with this food. Thank you Merrick!
