I have always wanted a Maytag Pair (Washer & Dryer) for as long as I can remember, in my adult life that is.Well I can say I was disappointed with the Washer but I love my Maytag Dryer.I have never had any trouble with my Maytag Dryer. I have to be honest and say I have not used my dryer as much as my washer. I do like to hang clothes on the line. I like that fresh outdoor smell you can only get with outside line drying. My Maytag Dryer however, has been great! It doesn't seem to take very long to tumble dry my clothes in my Maytag. They come out looking great also. If I am there when the dryer cycle is complete my clothes do not need ironing. I just put them on hangers right out of the dryer and they are fine. Like I mentioned earlier, they do not take very long to dry either! I have not timed them but it does seem to be the truth! I do like my Maytag Dryer and like the advertisement says-- you don't have to call the repair man!

I have had this dryer for almost 4 years, and I have never had a problem with it.  I specifically looked for a dryer in my budget that could handle a king size quilt.  The capacity is enormous.  I love this dryer.  It dries clothes quickly.  I have the stainless interior, and it still looks brand new. This dryer is such a good value for the quality - I highly recommend it.

I would definately invest in a replacement warranty for anything made from Maytag, as on the brink of a year after spending a ton of cash on this product as well as its front loading washing machine, a part broke inside, which was a defect from the manufacturers, and i had to wait over a month to have it all fixed. When the repair people gave me the bill, which was covered by our REPAIR warranty, it costed more than the washing machine originally did. I would never purchase a maytag again. Load Capacity The load capacity is great! Performance Its drying time is very minimal Ease of Use easy to use Durability given my experiences with this product, i rate it very low Design the design is fine

I bought this dryer about three years ago when we bought a new house. I really haven't had any bad experiences with the machine. It has several different settings, so meets all my needs. The only thing I have noticed is that sometimes the sensor in the machine that is supposed to measure the wetness of the laundry is not accurant, and the machine will continue to run even when the clothes are dry, and the clothes get very hot, and I would guess that is not good for the fabric. I would assume that would brake down the fibers of my clothes more quickly. Also, whan I clean the lint trap, I can see a lot of lint down in the tray holder area which I have a hard time cleaning out. The space is just to small for my hand to get down into it and get it cleaned out properly. I worry because I have heard that could be a fire hazard so I try my best to clean it out but sometimes it gets difficult to access. It does a good job of drt=ying my clothes and runs fairly quietly, and has a large drum and holds a large load of clothes.

I'm not that impressed with this dryer. I thought it would do a great job when I first got it but as time goes on, I find that heavy clothes are hard to dry. It was originally advertised that I could dry 12 pair of jeans in it but I would never try because I know it would never dry that many jeans. It just doesn't perform that well and for the price, it's a huge disappointment.

I absoluletly love my Maytag Electric Dryer. I can wash a big load and then dry all of it under fifty minutes and have all my clothes warm, dry, and toasty--and boy do I love a toasty load of clothes. It is warm and everything. The dryer does just as expected. The clothes do not smell bad at all and I keep my dryer outside so the noiseness of it does not bother me at all. Seriously, this is one great buy if you are in the market for a reliable, with tons of features, dryer for all your clothes drying needs. Everything fits in this dryer from my bedsheets to the tiniest clothes ever. It beeps when the drying is finished so you can begin your second batch of clothes if necessary. Though there are no racks for drying, it is not very necessary as you can just throw it in the dryer and in fifty minutes, be done!

The Maytag Dryer has been fantastic to use!  Not too long ago we needed to replace an old dryer abd bought this one.  I have been happy with the way it dries my clothes.  It can hold a huge load of laundry and that's great- I love being able to dry such big loads at once.  I also love the way you can customize the settings for each load.  I have kids, so I'm often washing kis clothes.  I love being able to get them dry fast.  When I dry my more delicate clothes, I can customize the heat setting so that they don't get too hot.  Also, it is nice to be able to see into the dryer.  It is easy to maintain.  The dryer is easy to keep clean and doesn't get lint all over the place like my old dryer.  My mom and my sister bought one also and they love it.  My family usually buys Maytag and we have always been happy with our appliances.  This dryer is easy to use and does the job well.  i would recommend it to anyone.

I've had this dryer for 2 1/2 years and its broken 3 times. It broke the first time, 9 days after I purchased it. The thermostat and mother board were both fried, after 9 days!!! I tried to send it back(based on repair man's recommendation!) but they wouldn't take it if there was not a manufacture defect. Thank goodness we bought the extended warranty. The warranty is up in 2 weeks and we are selling this piece of junk to buy something else. I do not recommend it. Very, very dissapointed.

This is not a high-quality machine like I thought it would be. I thought I could trust the name Maytag.  This is the first dryer I have ever bought.  I bought it for my new home.  I never imagined I would have so many problems (well just one recurring problem) with a brand new appliance. Maybe mine is just a lemon? But shortly after having the machine, i noticed that the machine was not turning and that it was just giving off heat.  I called a maintenance repairman to come to my house to check it out.  It had a problem with the belt.  He came back the next day to replace it.  While the repair did not take long and did not cost very much, it is still a huge inconvenience for such a new machine.  I never imagined having a problem with it so soon.  Not long after it was fixed, i am having the problem again! I have not had anyone to come look at it and will try to fix it myself, but i really wish i had bought a different brand.  I'm not sure I will buy a maytag ever again.

I have had my Maytag Dryer since my two boys were in grade school.  My oldest son is now 30 and I am still using the same Maytag dryer.  When it is time to replace it, it will be another Maytag Dryer.
