I had all but given up on wearing lipstick before I learned about this product.  I love the look of a subtle lipstick but I'm absolutely not one of those women who checking the mirror and applying lipstick in public to maintain it through the day.  I had tried multiple "long-lasting lipsticks" and while they lasted the day, they also left my lips dry and uncomfortable.  MAC's Lip Prep and Prime is the perfect solution.  A quick coat of this before you apply your lipstick and your lips are smooth and mousturized and your lipsticks lasts considerably longer.  I wasn't wild about the price at first but it's well worth it and since you don't use a lot of the product each day, the tube lasts a long time.  I've picked it up for my mom and friends and they love it too.  Quick tip:  when you apply it, use only a light coat on your lips and give it a minute to dry a bit before you put your lipstick on.  Great buy!
