I'd be the first to tell you that **Lysol Disinfectant Spray** does wonders for the bottom of my trash can before I put in a fresh bag. Do I clean the surface before spraying? Are you kidding? I wasn't aware of that issue until I read ALL the fine print for this review. I do know that the trade-off for a 99.9% kill rate on viruses and bacteria on both soft and hard surfaces is countered by certain elements of toxicity. For example, I never keep this spray on the counter in rooms where I, my guests, or my pets eat. The warning to "Wash Thoroughly With Soap And Water After Handling And Before Eating, Drinking, Chewing Gum Or Using Tobacco" gives me long pause for thought after I've sprayed for odor reduction or to sanitize surfaces. The thought of using **Lysol Spray** on pillows makes me cringe, but I do occasionally spray it on doorknobs or surfaces touched by someone with an infectious illness. "Do Not Spray On Skin Or On Clothing"? Skin is the issue, and I always wash my hands after using **Lysol**. The fragrance? There are new fragrances that sound heavenly. Inevitably, however, for me, **Lysol Disinfectant Spray** has an off or chemical smell that belies the inspiring descriptions. With a sprayed disinfectant of this type, consumers need to consider the alternatives. For me, spraying the trash can makes my purchase of **Lysol Spray** worthwhile. Otherwise, I prefer greener products. That said, a 1.6 pound can of **Lysol** lasts me a long time before I've got the empty to recycle!

In this season of colds, flu and just all the stomach bugs and everything going around it is important to keep germs out of the house and with the cold temperatures it is not like you can open the windows and let the fresh air in so that is why I have come to depend on lysol and have used it for years. I keep a can in the kitchen and in each of my bathrooms and at least once a day I will spray the kitchen at night and the bathrooms and sometimes the other rooms in the house.  It seems to be helping keep the germs out which means my family stays a little healthier if I can help it.  It is a product I trust as it is high quality standards and has been around for years in fact I grew up seeing my mom use it and I would recommend it to anyone.  Dont go for cheaper brands as your family is worth what it cost to keep germs out if you can help it and any little way like this does make a difference.  Although you might not think it helps just try it and even the scent will make the house smell nice and clean.

*I love the Lysol brand of products but recently was pleasantly surprised how well the Spring Water Fall scent worked. We have a plumber on the way but have been going through troubles with our sewer line in our home.  A blockage in the pipes caused a backup of water in back bathroom.  And even though we've been pumping the water out of the tub, the smell has been horrendous!  I decided to use my Lysol spray to try and get rid of the odor and was amazed that it worked immediately!  The initial strength of the scent was a bit much but a few moments later it was just mild and clean.  There wasn't any residual odor of the sewage.  The master bedroom is attached to the said bathroom and it had been rather hard to sleep with the sewage/human waste odor.  Now we're able to sleep through the night without being awaken by the nauseous odor and making us sick to our stomach.  I also like the fact that it kills 99.9% of the airborne bacteria.*

Lysol Disinfectant Spray Spring Waterfall sccent is useful when someone has a cold and regularly to eliminate germs in your house. When you have young children who do not wash their hands often it beneficial to spray the door knobs after they enter the home and before they wash their hands. Once they are home you can control their handwashing and therefore, do not need to use Lysol Disinfectant Spray all the time. When used on a continuous basis germs become resistant to what disinfectant you are using and it becomes non effective. I use it in this manner and we rarely get sick. One of the 6 of us does get the occasional cold and that's when I tend to really use Lysol Disinfectant Spray as it kills the virus of the common cold. I spray door knobs, toilet handles, drawer handles, and such things since no one can wash their hands enough that they do not spread the cold. But with frequent hand washing and Lysol Disenfectant Spray I can ensure that only one person gets a cold.

Lysol disinfectant spray in Spring Waterfall Scent is a very useful product. I have 5 kids and this spray helps me keep sickness away. I have a 18 year old girl, 15 year old boy, 11 year old girl, 6 year old boy, and 2 year old boy. So I have germs coming in all the time from everywhere. They are so busy and active and around so many people that they bring in all kinds of germs. My younger kids thinks it is a game when we go around and spray all the door knobs. We even spray the sink and toilet down with it. We use so many cans because it is cheaper to buy the Lysol spray then have to take them to the doctor all the time. Lysol disinfectant spray comes in several different scents. I have sveral favorites. But they all have a nice smell to them.*  I know they work because my doctors has even recommened me using this product. * *The spray is a little expensive but you can find good coupons sometimes for it. So go out and buy a can today.*

When I was little my mom always used Lysol. She was a clean freak and so I have learned to love Lysol too. Lysol is the best brand not only for making a room smell clean and fresh, but for disinfecting it. Recently we moved to an older place. I have used several cleaning products. Most of them worked good, but Lysol is one of the best. I spray it on my bed, sheets, pillows and all through my house. Even though it has been hot and many times bugs want to come in for water, since I have sprayed Lysol disinfecting spray I haven't seen any inside. This is almost a miracle because the place is older. The place is smaller so if there were bugs I would know. Lysol also helps to get rid of other germs and reduces the amount of sickness in a house. When someone got sick my mom would spray the place with Lysol and wash everything. She has taught my sister and I this and it really works to keep germs out. Thank God for Lysol. It keeps my home clean and bug free!
