I am always searching for something that will help me manage my naturally curly hair and this is the first product to do so. It moisturizes and tames the frizz that has always been a problem. When I first bought this product I was skeptical about the claims that had been made about it, that all changed the first time I washed my hair. It was softer and more tame after one use. As I continued to use the product my hair improved overall. The damage healed, the frizz went down, everything just seemed better. I would recommend using it along with the conditioner. When used as a pair they work even better. I have been using the product for a little over six months and have seen nothing but improvements in that time. I am also sensitive to smells and this product has a neutral scent so anyone with allergies can enjoy it. The only downside I can find to the product is the price is tad high for me, but I am notoriously cheap so it may not be an issue for most. Effectiveness Softer hair in just one use. I am a HUGE fan of this product! Some products for curly hair leave me feeling crunchy. You know the type I'm talking about - the "This product will control your frizz by binding each and every particle of hair so closely together that it feels and looks like a pile of sticks." Seriously, in junior high people called me "snap, crackle, and pop." In an effort to stop the extreme crunchiness (which, oddly enough, had a short phase of popularity among women with a very slight wave to their hair. I could never recreate the look), I tried to use products that would leave my hair feeling soft and bouncy. These. Products. Lie. Yeah, my hair was soft and bouncy - so soft and bouncy it was an afro of frizz. Then I went through the days where I used at least 6 products to calm the curls. Leave in Conditioner, Mouse, Gel, Spray Gel, Anti-Frizz, and Hairspray to finish it off. All of which did work, but was incredibly exhausting. And then I found Loreal Evercurl. I use both the shampoo and the conditioner, as well as the leave in conditioner and cream gel. And that is it! My hair is soft and frizz-less (except on rainy days, but I don't think there will ever be a product to cure that!), without being crunchy. And so I HIGHLY recommend this product if you have unruly curly hair!
