Comments about LG WM2350HRC Washer:
This was my first purchase of a front load washer and I don't know exactly what I was expecting, but this definitely isn't it! First, here is what I love about the machine...I love the fact that it has multiple functions for cleaning (baby, delicates, hand wash, speed wash, etc.), the displays are easy to read, the drum is large enough to handle loads of all sizes and the machine itself is easy to operate. Sounds good, huh? Well, that's what I though, but now for why I rated it as poor...I hate how dirty the machine its gets and no matter what I have tried, it's simply impossible for mold/mildew not to accumulate, which is disgusting! After each load, I leave the door open so that the water can dry out, but water still sits in the "sealing" around the door and it gets moldy. The problem is, that is isn't easy to clean (you have to run a rag between the seal where the water ends up sitting and accumulating) and you can't get all of the mold out. I have also had an issue with the seal not working properly and causing water to slowly drain out of the front of the machine when operating (although it is a small amount, it is enough to leave a puddle) and had problems with mold in the dispenser tray because water doesn't completely drain out of that either. Although the functionality of the machine is perfect, the design is what makes this machine a poor choice!
