The Sprint LG Lotus is a great little phone if you're like me, and don't like needing to mess with overstuffed smartphone just to make a call or send a message.  It's a flip phone with a full keyboard, making it a breeze to send texts, and has nice little features such as a full color screen that you can customize with your own pictures.  Like most cell phones, it also has a music player, camera and video camera function, all of which are decent, if not amazing, and allows you to store images and music downloaded from a computer or the internet.   The appeal of the phone is really in its simplicity and ease of use--it's not quite a bare-bones model, just free from a lot of uneccesary items.  It's very small, too, basically a 3"x4" flat rectangle when not in use, and stows away handily in pockets and bags.  I wouldn't get it if you want to use the phone for games or websurfing, but for easy calling and texting in a sleek, simple package, the LG Lotus is the way to go.

Great signal, long battery life and pretty to look at!

Overall
Rated 5 out of 5

My problem with cell phones are that I never get a signal in my house.  I have had many different brands including other  LG's  and have had to go outside to make a call.   The Lotus is compact, easy to use zoom camera,  has a big screen and is pretty. The Mp3 player is easy to use. You can go online to the music store to buy songs or put songs on Micro SD card.  It has a big sound for such a little phone.Definitely a female phone.  Depending on your contract, you can surf the web, email, watch videos and everything else most any other phone can do.  The buttons are on the small size but I don't have a big problem using the QWERTY keyboard. The big thing for me is the signal strength.  I have always roamed because I found Sprint towers weren't helping me out but  the Lotus doesn't have "ROAM ONLY" so I was taking a chance and found that the antenna is very strong. I no longer have to leave the house to make a call.

Loved it at first..

Overall
Rated 3 out of 5

My husband and I each got one of these Lg Lotus cell phones for free through Sprint, with a contract renewal. At first we thought these phones were really cool but then we started having problems. I don't even remember what they were because it was a year ago, but Sprint fixed them and my husband even had to get a new phone. I had to get a new signal sent to mine or something. The phones were good for the rest of the year up until now. My phone just recently started shutting off or restarting itself when I press any button. So then I have to wait until it comes back on and picks up service to make my call or check my email. I feel ridiculous when everyone around me is walking around with the...

the best prepaid wireless phone and service ever

Overall
Rated 5 out of 5

I am using a prepaid wireless phone and service by Net10 and for me this is the best type of wireless service that is offered. First i don't have to worry about getting approved or denied for service i pay for the minutes that i use and i use all my minutes. I pay 10 cents per minute and 5 cents for texting and i am okay with that. i don't use the phone to talk to my friends and everyone else. i use this for emergency and necessary talk time. So 300 minutes may last me about 45 days on average. Now sometimes there are months when i use more minutes than that but that has its advantages. It cost 30.00 for 300 minutes plus taxes. i think thats very reasonable. The service is excellent. i have ...

The LG600g is a good phone for highschool students.

Overall
Rated 3 out of 5

The LG600g is a pretty average phone. It doesn't have all the bells and whistles of newer phones, but it gets the job done.  I also appreciate the prepaid option that it comes with.  I don't use my phone very often so it is nice to only pay of what I use.  The phone also has a pretty decent screen that looks quite vivid. the camera is also quite decent for everything I need it for, it doesn't even register at a mega pixel but the images are still decent. another option included in the LG600g is the Bluetooth capability. this option is quite nice so far i haven't had any problems with this capability it has connected to every device i have tried to connect with.  Some of the just average capabilities consist of a calendar, an alarm clock, a calculator, a unit converter, and a stop watch. Over all i enjoy my LG600g. it allows me to text, talk, and picture message and well it just get the job done that i need it to do!

Lg Lotus is a great phone in purple

Overall
Rated 5 out of 5

I renewed my contract in January 2010 for 2 more years. After looking at all my options for new phones, I went with the LG lotus. My first reason for choosing it was the vibrant purple color. (I love purple). Second, it was no cost to me if I renewed my plan for 2 years. I like the flip-phone style because it forms more to the face than a non-flip style. It has a nice size screen and I can text easily with the QWERTY keyboard. I have long fingernails and some keyboards do not allow for this. The keyboard is also backlit, which is nice at nighttime. It has the normal features of a regular phone, calendar, alarm, pay phone bill directly to account from phone. It also  has a reliabe GPS wi...

Good compromise cell phone

Overall
Rated 4 out of 5

Let me say from the start that I work for Sprint and get free cell phone service. If I didn't work for Sprint (which will be the case very soon), I might easily make a different choice for a cell phone. However, I wanted to get a new phone and didn't want something as bulky as a Blackberry or even the Palm Pre. Most of my cell phone use is for simply making and receiving calls, so I wanted something that was so easy to carry that it was almost like it wasn't there. I also didn't want something so expensive that it was a target for thieves.

Thus, I got the LG Lotus LX-600 cell phone. It cost me $50 at the Sprint employee store, but I do not have a contract -- as I said, my service is free. A...

LG 600G Very reliable service with clear sound

Overall
Rated 5 out of 5

*LG 600G cell phone is Great! I had been using a Motorola V170 and hated it. The LG 600G was on special with Tracfone Wireless. I purchased this phone for my husband who works out of town quite a bit. He has called me from a valley in the Allegheny mountains and I could hear him as clearly as if he were right beside me! He has had no dropped calls or trouble hearing other people. The phone came with a double minutes plan. (Purchase 60 minutes and get 120 minutes for the life of the phone!) The phone and calling plan were 49.99. This is the cost of a double minutes calling card with Tracfone. The phone came with the package and is the best cell phone I have ever used. Navigation of the featur...

Cute, Fun, easy to use

Overall
Rated 4 out of 5

I got this phone about 2 weeks ago, and I have to say I am quite impressed. I have learned to love texting thanks to the easy to use QWERTY keyboard. I love the mp3 player while I'm out walking. The battery life is pretty good, could be a bit longer, when using extras like the camera or mp3 player it does use battery faster.

Only real problem I have had so far is the camera in it, it has a problem with taking pictures of a moving image. I have a 10 months old grandson I adore taking pictures of and showing off on my phone, but the only time he is still is when he's sleeping, so a lot of his pictures come out really blurry, they were much clearer on my old phone.

For the price though it's a neat little phone to have. Overall I am very happy with my purchase.

My LG Lotus looks great!

Overall
Rated 4 out of 5

I love my LG Lotus from Sprint. What attracted me to it was the way it looked at first, it's purple with engraved flowers! And then I opened it and seen that it has a full qwerty keyboard for texting and online use. It's easy to navigate and get to where I need to be on my phone whether it's text messages, applications or online.

When I open it up, I have an application that has the current temperature of my area which I can change to my horoscope, stock prices, sports and news and easily connect to the internet and get live feeds.

I only have three complaints about it and I'm sure this isn't the only phone that has this problem, but when I want to go online to any website, I can only...

LG Lotus LX600 - The Flip That's Got A Keyboard

Overall
Rated 4 out of 5

When I was looking for a new cell phone there was a couple of things that I wanted. I wanted a phone with a keyboard so texting was easier. I wanted one that could play music and surf the web. I wanted it to be a flip phone. I was so happy when I found the LG Lotus. Its a flip, with a full keyboard, that can surf the web and takes pictures and listens to music and its awesome!

You can load any mp3 or m4a onto the phone and it will play in the music player. In fact there is technically two different music players on the phone. The normal music player, and one tied into the Sprint Music store.

You can surf the web, and to help with that, you can download Opera Mini (4 is the best...

loved it, now I HATE it

Overall
Rated 2 out of 5

I have to admit I got this phone for free but I still hate it and can't wait to get rid of it.  I am thinking I might even go back to my last phone (rumor) because I hate it so much.

There are definitely a lot of things I do not like.  I didn't really think about this much when I got it but the shape is all wrong for me.  Plus I only had 2 colors (black and purple) to choose from.  Since my mom already had the purple one and we see each other often I opted for the black which I would probably get anyways. The buttons are SO small it is hard to dial let alone text.  I don't have big fingers but they scrunched all the number in the left side of the type paid making it...

The Lotus is a great phone

Overall
Rated 5 out of 5

The Lotus is a great phone. I love the looks, the technology, and the durability.

This is the cutest phone I have ever had. I wanted a flip phone (clam shell - don't want to butt dial anyone) that also had a full keyboard. That can be hard to find. This phone was perfect. Even a year later, I get lots of complements on it from men and women. I love the inside screen. I can watch TV, and the screen is big enough that I can actually see what is what.

Great technology! I've never had a problem with this phone. It's durable, had great call quality, and is user friendly. Who could ask for a better phone? I bought the extended warrenty, but I've never needed it. I have had no problems.

The only thing I'd change is the mini sd card. You can put your own ringers on the sd card, but you can not use it on this phone. You either have to use the ringers on the phone or buy ringers from the carrier.

Overall...good product.

Love my Purple Lotus LG phone

Overall
Rated 5 out of 5

I love my phone. I purchased my phone from a sprint store last year. What a pretty phone...purple with swirl designs. It also looks like a compact, so, for us girls, what is not to love? I was coming from a tracphone, so this was quite a jump for me. I got my husband a regular , basic phone and I got this one. When I got home, he checked out my purple phone and he just barely gave it back to me. He was jealous of my phone! Well, thankfully sprint has a guarantee, if within 30 days you hate your phone, you can trade it in. That is what I did. Back to the sprint store. There I exchanged his basic phone for the black LG Lotus. When I placed it in his hand, his eyes lit up. We did upgrade to a data plan for both our phones. Now, he watchs youtube clips, reads books online and many other activities with his phone. I don't know how we ever got by with tracphones when these phones do so much. I did notice the new blackberry phones look exactly like our LG lotus phones. How funny is that?
