Most HelpfulAbsolutely the worst customer service experience of my life. Having used this site and its services for dozens of orders since its inception as ofoto, Kodak has ruined the products, prints, and customer service.
I ordered two photo books (which I've been making on the site for years) in December and...
review »We use Snapfish and Ofoto to buy our photos online. I can’t say there have never been glitches with either site. There have been. However they’ve been minor and we get good pictures on time.
I am writing this because our experience last night with Kodak Gallery Share was so bad that I have to pass it on. We tried it because we had a coupon and we usually choose between the above two based on the price.
Signing in at Kodak Gallery Share was easy enough.
We couldn’t upload one picture at a time because we had over 100. It would have taken hours. Most sites have an option to bulk load.
If you use Kodak Photo Gallery dot com, be aware that the company is dumping your pictures if you have not purchased $19.99 in pictures over the last year.
I suppose it is fair NOT to float those who are not buying; however, there are plenty of photo storage options online, and those spaces do not cut you off. Check out Photo Bucket or Flicker. Or, try the Google photo storage system.
I was thankful to find that Kodak Gallery had some shots saved of my Dad and the last fish he caught before he died in a traffic accident on I77. The hard copies of the photos were in the totaled truck. They obviously...
review »1. "10 days"
2. "10 business days"
3. "up to 21 days"
After 21 days: "we'll reimburse you ($5!)"
Oh and when I called about the negatives that weren't mine and asked where I should send them...they...
review »Way back in the day I joined ofoto.com and I loved all it had to offer, and just when I thought that it couldn't get any better ofoto.com became kodakgallery.com. I didn't lose any of my pictures, I didn't have to re sign up with a new password or anything like that, however a few more features were added. It's been a while since it was ofoto so I can't remember all the changes that have happened but I like it.
I really enjoy how easy it is to up load pictures, there are some nice editing features and you can organize them in any order you want, give the pictures titles and send to friends and...
review »I love kodakgallery.com. I started using them after a few bad experiences with Snapfish.com. They are a bit more expensive than Snapfish but you get what you pay for which is good quality pictures. The only thing is you have to be sure of your order 100% before you submit it because you can't cancel it at all, even if you make a mistake. Like for instance today I noticed that I forgot to order certain pictures after I already had put an order in and after calling the customer service line I was told by a recording that the order couldn't be cancelled so I end up paying twice for shipping...
review »What a HORRIBLE experience. I will never ever use Kodak Photo Gallery again. Our Christmas photo card order was 2 weeks late, so we called to find out what happened and they claimed it was lost in the mail. Terribly rude and unhelpful customer service representatives finally agreed to "re-ship" the order (something tells me the order never made it out of the lab) and expedite the shipping for 1-day delivery. Well, then I come to find out that it would still take 3 days to "process" the order so there would be no way possible that we would receive our order the next day like we had requested. ...
review »I had a friend send me pictures through Kodak Gallery. As I was working through the photos and deciding which ones to print, I realized I can't do anything to the photos except crop them. I couldn't edit the photo or use the red eye. I had my friend upload them to me account so I could edit them. I thought I was good and on my way! As I'm picking out the photos and editing them before I "add to cart", I notice the red eye is leaving all kinds of spots on the faces of the pictures, or they are just blurring out the eye. The more I try to work with Kodak Gallery the more I get frustrated. As I decide...
review »I just replaced my Kodak Easy Share Software because it made me hate taking pictures! Really, I would not even take my camera to events because I knew it was going to be such a chore to get them on the computer, sort them, and have them developed.
Although I am not a computer guru, I am also not computer illerate. This software was not user friendly. For a while the 'one touch' function was nice, but then that failed and no longer worked. Then I had to go through the chore of downloading pictures from the camera to the computer through the sofware which was very challenging. Trying to organize...
review »Horrible experience with Kodak, Extremely upset with service.
1. By default all pictures you upload are zoomed in an d cropped at the photogallery.
2. Does not warn you where you can change the zoomed in and cropped pictures until your order is placed
3. cannot change your order once it's placed, even if it was placed 2 minutes before the request
4. chat agents are condescending (showing or implying a usually patronizing descent from dignity or superiority)
5. no time frame of when it will be ready for in store pickup in Canada
6. if you get the chance to talk with Matt T, online chat. He simply is...
The Kodak Gallery Easyshare site itself is fine & so are the products, but they require a purchase every 12 month (4.99 if you have less that 2gb & 19.99 if you have more than 2gb of pictures). Shutterfly has just as many products & they are great quailty as well & they NEVER delete your pictures or require a purchase. Google allows you to store pics for free as well & use your choice of retailers/websites to print them.
I just think there are better options out there - unless of course you don't mind the possibility of losing all your pictures.
What someone else "Shares" a Kodak Gallary album with you; Kodak Gallary; gives you the option to store it with your own Albums... Then at any time you can select your friends name and view / order prints from their old albums just like they were your own.
You don't have to go track down their old email and find the right one... then log into the photo service again etc.
