Great Bathroom Tissue

5

Bathroom tissue is something that I like to be comfortable and use well, but not spend much money on. Kirkland signature bathroom tissue helps meet these needs, as it is a reasonable price for a very high quality bathroom tissue that does a very good job at cleaning and removing waste. The one downside to it is that it can be a little flaky, so small pieces will flake off when using it. This isn't as bad in the bathroom, but it can be irritating if someone uses it to blow their nose and they have these flakes left on their face. Comfort This bathroom tissue is very soft and comfortable. It does not chafe or rub the skin raw or dry in any way. Durability This toilet paper is very durable, being strong enough to last through an entire usage without falling apart (unless it gets pretty wet). Absorption This Kirkland toilet paper is somewhat thick, and I think the embossing increases the surface area and helps it absorb more.

Adequate TP, Good Price

My household has used Kirkland Signature Embossed Bath Tissue for some time, and it a decent, if not exceptional toilet paper, which gets the job done. However, it is very hard to beat the price, and as such, is a very good deal for anyone who does not mind trading some quality for a better price. Comfort This product is not the softest nor the most comfortable toilet paper out there, but it is not uncomfortable by any means, or scratchy, if one is worried about that. Still, it is an acceptably comfortable toilet paper to use. Durability Overall, I'd say that this is a reasonably durable toilet paper to use. It does not tear or rip under normal usage, though I have had the occasional tear if it has gotten wetter than normal, or have accidentally been a little more forceful than normal. Still, as long as one is reasonably careful while using it, there shouldn't be any problems as far as durability go. Absorption Although it is not the most absorbent toilet paper out there, for the most part, it does an acceptable job. However, it is sometimes necessary to make more wipes than usual to get things clean down there if for some reason, it got a little messier than things normally do.

Cheapest in price, best in quality

I can personally see no difference between Kirkland brand and any other toilet paper brand. Plus you save money when buying this brand AND get more! Comfort This tissue is far from scratchy like some others. It also isn't too soft where it falls apart. It's the perfect happy medium as far as comfort goes. Durability Double-sheeted toilet paper that is strong and durable.

I was worried.... but I LOVE it.

Buying a HUGE package of toilet paper without being able to touch it or try it first may seem like a really risky idea. But, I decided that the cost savings was completely worth it - with two kids in the house, toilet paper just doesn't seem to last very long. I am so glad I took the chance. I find it soft but strong. I am completely pleased with the results. Soft enough for a four year old little girl while being strong enough for an adult male too. Suits everyone's needs. The sheets aren't too thin so I don't find the kids using a ton of it wadded up into a ball. Another issue I have noticed with the "soft" toilet papers is "dust" coming up as you use them -- particularly on the "big name" brand. That doesn't happen with the Kirkland brand, I am happy to say. If the toilet paper has a smell, I haven't noticed it. And I like it that way. Overall, I would say, take the chance and buy the mega pack of Kirkland toilet paper. Economical but it doesn't perform like inexpensive toilet paper -- it performs like the high end, big name brands.

An okay replacement for big-name brand

I recently went shopping at a different bulk club store than I usually shop at, and the name brand at the new store is Kirkland. We needed toilet paper, so I went ahead and tried this (we are used to Quilted Northern). Without telling my husband, I replaced an empty roll with this toilet paper. He knew IMMEDIATELY and told me that he felt this was like "gas station toilet paper" and he didn't like it. I told him it was in no way as bad or as thin as gas station toilet paper, but I too could definitely tell a difference. I don't think the difference really matters too much, but it does feel different, not as thick. But it does get the job done and it doesn't tear through like that super-thin, 1-ply gas station stuff. I talked to my husband about it again and he admitted he was overreacting (who knew toilet paper would bring on such a reaction!) and that he really doesn't mind the Kirkland, but he definitely notices a difference and asked me not to buy this brand again.
