We had really high hopes for our new dishwasher. Kenmore has always been our favorite brand, but this dishwasher was really disappointing. One of the selling points was the SmartWash cycle. That cycle (and the normal cycle actually) runs at least 3 hours every time we turn it on. It takes way too long to wash a load of dishes. However, if we use the Fast Wash, the dishes don't get clean at all. I also do not like that the dishwasher automatically turns on the Heated Dry feature with many of the normal wash cycles. For energy efficiency, we choose to NOT use that feature, but we have to manually turn it off every time we do a load of dishes. On a positive note, the sleek black look is very appealing and I like the hidden buttons (keeps my kids from pushing them all the time). I also relaly like the tall tub feature. I can fit my large pots and cookie sheets easily in the bottom rack...if only it didn't take SO LONG to wash them!
