Kashi Honey Sunshine Cereal Reviews

Like most people, I received a free sample of Kashi Honey Sunshine Cereal in the mail recently.  I had a hard time believing the cereal was going to be as bad as some of the reviews I read had claimed it to be, but sadly, it is.

I have tried many Kashi products including their frozen foods, snacks and other cereals and have always enjoyed everything I tried...except this cereal.  Kashi Honey Sunshine Cereal received 2 stars from be because of two reasons: 1) The cereal is very bland; there is almost no flavor, and 2) it became soggy in record time.

Unlike some of the other Kashi cereals...

I'm glad I got this with a free coupon...I was looking for a good fiber cereal..check, OK there.  But the taste is too plain & bland for me.  Granted, I don't eat sugary cereals but with this, I'd really rather eat the box, it might taste better.  It does have a honey sweet taste, and I'm sure I will eat it all eventually ~ since we don't waste food.  My pups can have some for snack, but then again, they eat anything that's put in front of their cute faces.

I prefer a heavier cereal to make me feel full...I had one bowl and now my husband is going to cook a real breakfast. 

I had the opportunity to try Kashi Honey Sunshine Cereal as a sample I received in the mail. What a great mailbox surprise. Kashi Honey Sunshine Cereal is a tasty snack for work. Instead of eating this cereal with milk, I love this dry cereal as a handy and portable snack. Great to munch!

I love Kashi products.  This cereal has great nutritional value, but no one at my house would eat it.  The honey flavor doesn't show up on the pallet.

I first heard abotu Kashi Honey Sushine Cereal when I received a mailer with some coupons for it.  I thought, "Wow.  These look pretty tasty."  So off I went to find them and see if I my initial thoughts were correct. 

I found them at a local store...on sale no less.  Grabbed ten boxes to go with my coupons and happily trotted home with my haul.  

The next morning I grabbed my first box, pured my first bowl, and began to inspect.  They look like Cap'n Crunch, but do not taste or have the same texture like Cap'n Crunch. The box says the whole grain cereal has been kissed with honey, but...

I'm gobbling down handfuls of Kashi Honey Sunshine cereal at my desk at work--it's the perfect mid-day easy-to-eat pick me up, though it's pretty nice with milk for breakfast (or a midnight snack), too. (I'm thinking I should go home and try it with vanilla yogurt, too.) It's golden yellow, honey-ish pillows of goodness--with 7 grains! It doesn't taste wholesome, though--it could pass for Sugar Smacks or Honey Grahams or whatever it is the kids like these days.

I got my sample of the Kashi Honey Sunshine Cereal in the mail yesterday and was sick of eating my usual cereal of Apple Jacks. So I usually go for the cereals that have taste and probably not the healthiest but I do love cereal. Some of my favorite cereals is Special K, Apple Jacks and Corn Puffs to give someone an example of my taste buds. I was excited for this sample of Kashi as I had tried one in the past and could not remember what flavor it was but it was great. So this morning I woke up and poured my Kashi Sunshine Cereal and my Silk Soy Milk (I also never use anything but Silk Soy Milk)...

Kashi Honey Sunshine cereal is pretty good. It is slightly sweet from honey and cane sugar.It has a taste that reminds me a little of maple which in turn makes me think breakfast.It gets soggy fairly fast so eat quickly! The size of the cereal is great. Several pieces fit on the spoon at a time. They are all natural which is a huge plus for me and my family. My husband likes it and he usually prefers a very sugary cereal.The calorie count is as low as any cereal I have ever been able to find and actualy eat! Actually has  less calories than plain Cheerios since you get a slightly bigger portion...

The Kashi Sunshine cereal that I got in the mail from Viewpoints was okay, but I'm not a huge fan.  The cereal was good and fresh in the box, and tasted good, but it just doesn't have a lot of sugary taste to it.  I strongly recommend this cereal for children, if you want to control the amount of sugar they get.  Kudos' to Kashi for coming out with these all natural products, especially in a day and age where we have so many over weight people.  I applaud a company that takes responsibility in helping to control the populations weight problems, by offering good quality, all natural products....

I received a sample of the Kashi Honey Sunshine Cereal and I dont do health foods very ofter. I mean I love granola bars and stuff but Kashi has never peeked my interest. But I was shocked and suprised. this cereal is awesome. My 15 month old neice loves it and eats it as a snack in place of cheetos and cheerios. The taste is awesome. There's no aftertaste and it has a really nice texture. My sugary-cereal obsessed husband LOVES it. That's the best thing I can say.... he adds sugar to everything and he ate the Honey Sunshine Cereal without adding sugar and loved it. Its awesome. I highly suggest...

Cereal is not one of my favorite food but I know it is good for health. Basically I am not a cereal lover but I do want to eat healthy. Since then I have tried all kind of cereal to find one I can have for my breakfast every morning or snack time at night. Finally I found "Kashi Honey Sunshine". It taste lightly sweet, only 100 calories per servings, high dietary fiber 22% from 7 whole grains and sesame, good sources of vitamin,this cereal is also packed with great nutrition. Good for Health & Good Taste!

I was excited when I got a sample of Kashi Honey Sunshine cereal in the mail one day. I am a fan of their products  (my son eats Kashi waffles for breakfast) and was excited to try this cereal. It exceeded my expectations. It is so yummy and crunchy and delicious. I love it, my son loves it. He thinks he is getting a treat every time I give it to him. It is also a great midnight snack for me that I don't have to feel guilty about. Since we started buying this cereal, I have noticed that the other cereals sit in the pantry much longer.
