My mother's cat LOVE this cat food. I have tried it with mine and she isn't crazy about it. Normally she goes insane for dry cat food, but this one she sniffs and just strolls away. Overall I think this cat food is really good, I think my cat just didn't like it. I would definitely recommend trying this food out and seeing if your cat likes it. Quality of Ingredients This cat food has very good quality ingredients. The quality off the food is actually one of the main reasons why my mother decided to purchase this food in the first place. Her cats are young, active, and healthy animals. I think they are bit on the skinny side, but I guess they are healthy. Flavor Selection I'm pretty sure this cat food only comes in one flavor. So while selection isn't great, you're cat will either love it, or want nothing to do with it. There are other cat foods out there with a lot more variety when it comes to flavor. In all reality though, flavor selection is for us owners, not really so much for the cats.

Innova Cat and Kitten food is one of the best dry foods you can buy for your cats or kittens. My cats love this food. It is not made with any by-products. Its made with real turkey, chicken and chicken meal. Chicken meal is just ground up chicken. They dont use the bones or any of the junk in the chicken that we as people wouldnt eat. If we wouldnt eat it, why would we feed it to our cats? My cats love this food. Innova has mainly meat in it, 36% Turkey and Chicken, with Herring, Eggs, Barley, Rice, Apples, Carrots, Cranberries, Cottage Cheese and Chicken Fat, ( which is good for their coats). Of course they add vitamins and rich Omega-6 and Omega-3 fatty acids for a silky coat. What I like is that they use the highest quality turkey and chicken, not the leftovers, after they take the meat first, for people. Innova is a little pricey compared to cheaper brands, but you get what you pay for. But, the best part of Innova is that your cats will eat less eating this food, which does save you money in the long run. When you buy the cheaper foods our pets eat more of it, because they arent getting the nutrients they get out of a better food like Innova. So, it might cost more to start out with, but when they eat less your not buying food as often. I would reccomend Innova to anyone with cats or dogs. Its one of THE BEST pet foods.

My kitty monkeys and I love Innova Cat Food.  I have tried several types of food for one of my finicky cats who will eat most food, sometime reluctantly, but will also vomit it up.  I try to feed her dry food because it is much more health for her with regard to tartar, heart disease etc.  Not to say that I do not give her (and the other cat on occassion wet food).   This is especially true of new food and whatever random stuff upsets her stomach (she is otherwise a totally healthy cat).   I was quite pleased to find Innova Cat Food. The ingredients are excellent:  By order-- turkey, chicken meal, chicken, potato, egg, barley, chicken fat, rice, and flaxseed.  Not to mention random healthy ingredients including apple, pumpkin, alfalfa, rosemary and cottage cheese. If this was me, I probably would not eat it-- not into too many health foods but I am confident that this is great for my cat.  You can find some prety sweet coupons on-line.  Ohh, the cats really enjoyed it!

My two cats have been fed Innova since they were 2 months old.   I think my cats should eat as well as I do so I very much appreciate that they use human-grade foods and no fillers.  Perhaps you might spend a bit more for Innova but if that means the cats are healthier, then you save in the long run from fewer vet visits.  One cat is a hunter and is outside about 60% of the time, while the other is my "constant companion" and is inside 90% of the time.  Both cats are healthy and happy on this food.

Last month I started using Innova wet and dry cat food for my 2 rescued Maine Coon mixes (indoor only cats).  I had stumbled upon the naturapet.com website and learned a lot about pet foods!  I learned that it contains no fillers and only human-grade quality ingredients.  By not using fillers, extra grains, and preservatives, cats and dogs are able to eat less to feel satisfied and are less likely to become over weight.  With indoor cats, that's very important to me.    I have also read that the company that makes Innova and EVO pet foods (Natura) owns and runs the processing plants that make all of their dry pet foods.  (They currently do not make their own canned foods but they are intensively involved in the process.  I have heard rumors that Natura is working on building a factory to make their canned food themselves and avoid the middle man.)  This means that since they use human-grade ingredients and oversee the making of their own products they are less likely to be effected by pet food re-calls in which toxic substances accidentally get into the pet food.    I debated whether or not to use the EVO formula cat food but I read that it might contain too much protein for most indoor cats and dogs.   Unless you have an active outdoor cat or an active outdoor dog that gets regular exercise I don't really see any benefit to having so much extra protein.  For cats and dogs with kidney problems having too much protein in their diet can worsen kidney function.  I figured I would be safe the use the Innova formula.   I have been mixing Innova dry with Purina One kitten food to transfer them over to a 100% Innova diet and to use up the rest of the Purina One cat food that I have.  I gave them a little bit of Innova wet food as treats for about 2 weeks to let their stomach get used to it.  Now they share one 5.5 oz can together and they always have dry food available.    I had read that EVO or Innova might make their stools more smelly as their body gets used to it and I have to admit that I think that phenomenon is true/real.  It has been a few weeks since I integrated Innova into their diet and the smell is getting better.    And lastly, my cats really like the taste of Innova!  It's a win-win.  The canned cat food is their favorite treat.  The male cat I recently adopted (left in picture) had lived in an animal control facility for a couple months with a really bad flea infestation.  He chewed out practically all of his hair so I am excited to see how Innova will help him grow a healthy, shiny, long fur coat!  (He's going to be so handsome!)  My little girl (right in picture) has been with me for 6 months and already has beautiful long hair so I'm sure Innova will help her maintain her good looks.  :)   I am a college student and my parents would probably freak out if they new how much money I was paying for cat food.  :)   But that's why I simply don't tell them!! :D  I will be graduating in 2 years and will eventually be able to *really* afford Innova.  I am willing to live off of grilled cheese sandwiches and Ramen as long as my kitties can get the best food available!  Innova is worth the sacrifice.

quality that my cats love and i feel safe feeding them. organic , no junk in this product. we get up early in the morning and look for the bag of Innova. My 3 boys run in the kitchen as i pour the food into their bowls. I have a 24 lb. brown classic tabby maine coon, and he eats about a 1/2 cup of Innova daily.  I hope more people try this product and love it like my cats do.
