You get what you pay for.
I have two teenagers, two indoor outdoor cats, and a husband who has no idea what the phrase "please wipe your feet" means, and this Hoover wasn't what I was hoping for. Maneuverability The good news it that this floor cleaner is light weight and maneuvers easily. It doesn't have swiveling head, but its low front does fit nicely under cupboards in the kitchen. Unfortunately, it does struggle with tight corners and cleaning up to edges of walls. Ease of Maintenance I did like how easy it was to assemble and to clean and replace the water. Suction Performance I found that it was able to easily vacuum up small items on the floor like dust and dirt. Larger food particles like pasta parts still had to be hand swept. Its suction of the water was also ok. It tended to leave some small puddles. All in all, easier that a dust pan and boom, followed by a mop. Versatility I was much more pleased with how it did on hard wood floors than its performance on the tile. With the grout and tile divots, dirt was often left behind. Design I appreciate the light weight design and the length of the cord.
