Honda makes some of the best and quietest lawn mowers. We now have a small yard so we gave up our Honda riding mower that I used to cut over an acre every week. My little 30 inch cut Honda riding mower was the quietest, zero turning radius mower and my favorite of all mowers we've ever had in the 39 years we've been married. When we moved to a smaller yard, my husband wanted to stick with a Honda push mower. We bought the Honda Self Propelled Walk Behind Mower which has been okay as far as walking mowers go. Honda Lawn Mower the Best

I remember the "cuss factor" being high every time my dad tried to start the lawn mower when I was a kid. When I got married and we planted 6500 square feet of lawn I worried that we would have the same frustrating experience every time we went to use the lawn mower. We fortunately purchased a Honda. Unbelievably it is 15 years old and still starts up like we bought it yesterday. The only money we have spent on it is one tune up and blade replacement. I would imagine even that is amazing as after 15 years of mowing grass mixed with small branches and pine needles any blade would become dull. Where we live the grass doesn't grow in the winter so we let the mower sit in the garage. Amazingly it starts up with no problems. We just bought a new vehicle after 15 years and knowing how well Honda makes their small engines we figured they would be good at larger engines too so we bought a Honda Pilot!

This was the first lawn mower that I bought new - I have been using a hand-me-down from my parents for the last few years.  Let me just say that I made the right choice.  After having to continually battle with the old mower to start, yearly needed repairs, etc., it is finally nice to have a low hassle lawn mower that starts on the first pull.  I have been very happy with the quad-blade that does a nice job of chopping up the grass, so bagging in most cases is not necessary.  But when I do need to bag, especially when the leaves begin to fall in the northeast, the bag is simple to put on and off multiple times per mow.  At first I was a bit hesitant regarding the speed control, but once you get used to it, it really works great and the speed is very easy to control.  Overall, I really have nothing bad to say about the Honda Lawn Mower 22 - just hope it keeps on working like is has been work for the last two years!

Ask my husband...when he told me how much the mower cost I think I tuned out thinking there was no way we were going to spend that much money on a mower.  But you have to understand I cringed at paying $80 on a used one off of Craigslist two years ago...so maybe I don't like spending money on boring things, like lawn mowers.  I've since grown up a bit.  Especially when said Craigslist mower started smoking and then eventually died one Saturday afternoon.  I must have sighed inside, knowing that the Honda mower would be brought up again.  Well...after my husband showed me the research, and told me about several other people that had a Honda, and had had one for over 6...

If you spend the money on this lawn mower you will be glad that you did because you will not need another lawn mover for decades to come. 

We purchased this lawn mower after my father has owned his Honda (which is about exactly the same) for 30 years.  It was on the expensive side but I knew it would be worth the investment.

I love that you can shut off the blade and leave the mower running while you remove the bag to empty the grass.  You do NOT have to pull the string and start it up each time.  You can also use the self propel without having the blade going.  So when you are done and you are pushing it back to the shed you do not have to cut another strip on the...

I needed a new lawn mower the beginning of this spring and well was shopping around when I ended up buying a new honda. I have never been so happy with my choice. I live in an area that was flooded a couple months ago, and the lawn mower was completely under water. After everything dried out I went to check out the damage. I thought the mower would never work again. I changed the gas in it and dried off the spark plug, pulled the cord one time and it started right up.  I have since then recommended this not very expensive mower to several of my friends, one of which bought one, She loves hers too. It came with a catch bag and it is easy to put on and remove. I could have never asked for a better mower and I just want to let everyone know just how durable honda motors can be. Any motor that can be completely submerged in water and start right up with minimal effort has got to be great and realiable for a long time.

My husband and I have almost half an acre to mow every summer, and our Honda mower made the job as easy as it could be. We had the mower for nine years and NEVER had one problem with it. As with Honda automobiles, their mowers are of the highest quality. It goes without saying that you pay a higher price, but it's worth every penny, particularly if you have a lot of lawn to mow. Ours was self-propelled, easy to maneuver, handled the bumpier parts of the lawn easily, and like I said, never broke down or even gave us a slight problem. I speak in the past tense because someone else apparently new the value of the mower and stole it out of the back of our truck one weekend when we left it unattended for only a matter of minutes. If you only have a small lawn or just can't fathom spending more than a few hundred on a lawn mower, then a Honda mower probably isn't for you. Otherwise, you will not be disappointed with your purchase!

Best lawn mower, despite the way I treat it!!!

I have had my Honda lawn mower for 5 years now. I have left the poor thing out in the rain, and last year, I left it out all winter. I remembered to bring it in after the "big" snow thawed out. It fired up on the first try!!! It is VERY dependable, despite having me as an owner!

One year later I'm still very happy with my Honda mower.

**I purchased my Honda mower last Spring. My budget wouldn't allow for a key start mower so I was determined to find one that would start on the first pull. My neighbor has a Honda and recommended it. The salesman assured me it would start on the first pull and to date,  the only times it didn't start were the times I was doing some thing wrong. (Forgetting to open the fuel saver valve.) It is a self propelled and can be propelled with the blades not running which is a real nice feature.  On the down side I have found that if the grass is the least bit wet the selfpropelling is almost useless. The wheels just slide. Now my yard isn't perfectly flat so I'm sure the performance would be much better on a level area. Over all I am very happy with my Honda mower....so far. **

I am very surprised at how these honda mowers outlast other mowers. They are well worth the money spent on them. My honda mower is very easy to start every year and every time. One pull is all it takes to fire it right up. Every year after storage even all it takes is one pull of the rope to fire the mower up. It is a very easy mower to use. A woman can very easily use this mower also which is a plus for a lot of women. The self propell makes it very easy to mow any yard with ease. The speed is set just right from the factory so you can mow your yard just right and not be out there running behind your mower trying to keep up with it. I need to tell you about this mower. It has good power, starts easy, is good on fuel economy, and just in general does exactly what I need it to do. It mows the grass evenly and without a lot of hassle. I like the self propelled feature as I have some different grades to mow on nearly a quarter acre of turf. I would recommend this brand to other busy moms.

We decided to buy this honda mower after looking at other mowers around the same price. We decided to go with this mower because of the honda name, and other reviews. We were very satisfied with this mower when we used it the first time, it was easy to push and had varying levels to cut the grass at. Over all we are very happy with this purchase and have reccomended this mower to our family and friends.
