We really like the Gateway AMD A-Series Notebook. We bought this as a gift for our 14-year-old daughter to have for homework for the new school year. She loves it! It is a good size and easy for typing and seeing a bigger screen of things. It is a good weight and easy to take around with you if you like although she uses it at home. It came at a good price and we have had no problems with it as of yet. It has a good capacity for memory and speed. This is our first purchase of a Gateway laptop and we are satisfied with the quality. In the future we will be looking at other Gateway laptops when we are in the market for a new one. Ease of Use Super simple and self explanatory to use as long as you are used to using a laptop of computer already. My daughter has figured out any new things on her own. Battery Life Good battery life. Support & Service We have not needed support or service for anything yet, as she has had it little over a year. Design Nice, sleek, attractive.

I have had minimal problems with my laptop. Have had for over a year and still works great. Ease of Use I have had multiple problems and seem to go through laptops quickly, mainly because I needed to be online for school, but this one has lasted the longest of all without too many technological issues. Battery Life It is okay, I wish it would last a little longer unplugged from wall. Support & Service I have never had an issue with my Gateway laptop, but the warranty was at a good price. Speed/Performance It was running faster in the beginning, but with the downloads it slows down. Fortunately the system restore is easy on this one. Design Typical design, not too fancy. Durability I still have minimal scratches and marks on laptop and I use everyday.

My computer is at least 2 years old and still going strong. I love the ease of working online and the performance of the machine. Gateway makes a wonderful laptop. Ease of Use This computer is very easy to use and very dependable. I carry it most places and do my work on the go. I also have children who use it and it still runs at a good speed. Battery Life The battery lasts as long as any other laptop battery would last. Support & Service At any given time, I have received exceptional support and service from the manufacturer. When I have a problem, I do not worry because my support system is awesome. Speed/Performance Although it is 2 years old, this laptop is still pretty fast. Despite small viruses that are prone to be attached to email and links, I have had great life and strength from this computer. Design I love the design. This computer is sleek and compact, making it classy and simple. I love the simplicity of the design and the remarkable shine to the cover. Durability It is very durable. I have dropped it many times and it still works great.

After saving for a long time I was finally able to purchase this as my first laptop. I had been using dinosaur aged desk tops for too long. This was a much needed upgrade and I am still satisfied years later. I am currently still using this as my main laptop. Its has been very easy to use with a long batter life. I had to replace the cord but it was because I lost it not because of any damage. My house flooded and I was able to save my laptop but not the original adapter. The replacement works great and gives me no problems at all. I have two toddlers who bang on it daily and it takes a licking and keeps on a ticking. I love its durability. No complaints thus far and hopefully I can pass it on to my children soon and upgrade to a larger screen. However for now I am truly satisfied with this purchase. I've always been a fan of gateway products because of their quality in service. I would purchase this laptop again and recommend it highly.

Even though the computer is affordable it wasn't quite there yet. What I mean it wasn't there yet it means technology wise. First when I got the computer I though wow it's so big so unlike my old 11'' acer which I love but just wasn't updated enough. So the first month I got o the internet quickly and smoothly downloaded files when I needed to. So of course I thought it was such a bargain for my money but then everything went downhill after that. The computer started to become slower and then some of the keys stopped working. It's a great computer the first month but I guess if you use it frequently like I do it become slower. Get this laptop if it's the first time you're trying out using a laptop but if you want a great computer that's last ahead of it's time I wouldn't score for this. But's it okay until I can afford new one. Satisfactory in the way the laptop looks like too. So overall a okay laptop if you're on a budget.
