I use to love ironing. I would iron everything that my family and I wore. I would get a lot of compliments on how neat we were also, especially my nursing Uniforms. That was during the time that nurses wore white uniforms. I still like to iron and my GE steam iron adds to the pleasure. Well now that you think I am an Old Nut I will tell you more about my iron. I have always stuck with GE. The steam iron that I now own is model # 106671R. I really like this one. It is very durable. I have knocked it off the ironing board a few times and it would hit the floor. Each time I thought was the last time. However it is still working. This GE steam iron is mostly white with an open area on the front that is covered in pale blue. This is where the water is. It also has a push button on the front so you can spray water on the artical of clothing that you are ironing.You can use this iron with or without steam. It also has a temperature control dial on it. One of the best features is an automatic shut off. I would recommend GE steam irons to anyone looking to buy an iron.
