We bought a new house with this appliance built in.  It worked for a very short time before the motherboard shorted out.  I called the GE customer service, and they sent a repairman out quickly.  Now the dishes come out sparkling.

I couldn't be found without a dishwasher. Well I could but then I'd have to wash dishes! I love my dishwasher and it's very quiet and washes well. We have hard water so sometime after we got it we had diffitulty getting clean dishes. But with experimenting with different detergents we found one that consistently gets them clean. I like that you can get a hot start. It supposedly gives the wash a boost. And I use the delay timer almost every night. That way we can wash the dishes in our sleep! And it being near the living room won't interfere with our daily plans. I believe it to be a very quiet machine, however and run it during the day sometimes without thinking, "man that is loud". All in all I am very pleased with our dishwasher. We built a house in 2009/2010 and this was the basic model that was offered to us. I am not sorry we chose it. It is sleek black and fingerprints wash off easily.

This dishwasher was in the house when we bought it, but the house was only one year old when we moved in a few months ago.  This is the best dishwasher I've had to date.  There's a lot more room than I'm used to.  I can fit large pots and pans that usually wouldn't be able to fit.  It has fold out cases on the top rack to contain smaller items.  Some dishwashers limit the way you can stack your bowls, glasses, plates, etc., but I find that this dishwasher is very versatile.  I'm not limited by how the pegs are placed.  I also have enough room for all the utensils.  I can even put my long stirring spoons in the utensils cases, whereas with other dishwashers I wouldn't have room.  I also like the feature that I can delay the start time for 2, 4, or 6 hours.  It is very quiet and doesn't disturb me when I'm watching TV or having guests over.  It also has an indicator light that goes on when the dishes are clean.  I really don't have any complaints about this dishwasher!
