The little people farm is a great toy for a boy or girl. My son and daughter have enjoyed this toy for many years. It comes with a farmer, tractor, farm animals. It's very easy to assemble and It does require battieres. The Little people farm has many sounds that excite any child. the pig says "oink" the horse says "neigh, the sheep says "baa" along with the other farm animals. The little people farm is bright and colorful and I love the fact you can also purchase extras to build your little people world. I have the Little people Farm, House, Car wash, Busy town, Play ground, Minivan and many extras....

As a mother of 3 small children, I couldn't imagine life without Fisher Price Little People. Fisher Price has continued to make great interactive and educational toys, and the Little People Farm has kept with that tradition!

It's sturdy construction can withstand my 2 year-old son's weight as he stands on the silo to crow like a rooster. The animal sounds keep my 3 year old dauter interested suring her rendition of "Old MacDonald Had a Farm". The farm animals and people are baby-friendly as well. My 1 year old is able prefers to chew on the pig and make piggy noises.

Bought this for 17 month old. She is just starting to learn animals and sounds. On her own she will play with it for 10 minutes or so, then it becomes a repository for anything else she can stuff in it. With Mom or Dad she will play with it with a much longer period of time. It's quite durable and I haven't had too much problem with the silo coming loose as other reviewers have commented on, though when it did I found it hard to snap back on. We don't have the furry animal version, which is probably a good thing as she's still in the everything-in-the-mouth stage. It's nice bright colors, realistic...

Oh my gosh! I love this farm. I had the old version when I was a child and still get excited hearing the door moo when it opens. My kids have all had one and love it. It has varied through the years since I have kids from 19 down to 4,but they all still loved it as much as I have. The addition to ours of a farmer and more animals has been great and allows more imaginative play. It is such a simple toy, but encourages imaginative play. It has been a pumpkin farm, a farmers market, chicken farm, horse barn ( we live in KY so of course horses), and one of my daughters had a wedding for her Barbies...

The Fisher Price Little People Farm is a great way to get kids learning theough play. It has sounds that you would normally hear on a farm and little animals that encourage matching and role-play.

The Fisher Price Little People Farm is a great toy. I just bought it last week for my daughter, who is at an age where she's starting to learn about animals, the noises they make, and learning imaginative play.

As an educator and a mom, I love the LIttle People products!  The Little People farm is a product I use both at home and at school to develop farm vocabulary, comprehension, imaginitive play!  I make the kids label all of the animals, I have them match the animals to the correct sounds, and follow directions with the animals.  Children love pretending that they are the farmer and love making the animals go different places and do different activities.  It is a good toy to promote socialization during group play or to promote growth in independent play.

Fisher Price has always pleased me with their toys, especially when I think about how much fun my children have had with their Little People sets. I purchased the Little People barnyard/farm set for my son for his first birthday and he played and played with it for hours. The fisher price little people farm is a great toy. I bought this for my daughter when she was about 18 months. She would play with this toy all the time. The animals are colorful and the sounds are clear and understandable. My daughter loved using imaginery play as she grew and really played like it was a farm. She was always changing up the scenary and having the farmer take care of the animals. The batteries last long in this toy as well and that is a huge plus for us moms.
