I bought this tv for myself at WalMart on sale. My mother recommended a little more expensive brand because of quality but I thought the Emerson would do just fine. Another example of you get what you pay for. 5months went by with the tv working fine, no problems at all. Then right on the 6 month mark my screen has lines running all across the top of the picture, constantly. I got an estimate on how much it would cost to fix it and it would have been almost the same price I paid for the tv to begin with. While I realize this could have just been my luck and one bad experience I would recommend that you either pay a small amount more for a more trusted, higher quality brand of tv, or get some insurance on it so you won't get the same result I did. Picture Quality It had a good picture quality, while the picture still worked. I could notice a difference when it was on display at WalMart next to all the other tv's, but once I got it home I didn't notice the slightly different quality nor did it bother me.

So I own this Emerson Tv and it was one of the lower priced TV's so that's why I purchased it. But At firs I had assumed it would be fine but not all that great. But after Purchasing it, I found it to be wonderful. It's easy to set up, the screen is HD and works great, all the pictures are clear and I have yet to have a problem with it. So I just wanted to let people know that this is a wonderful TV and the Company knows what they are doing. It's a low cost Tv and worth the purchase. Picture Quality Wonderful Picture. Everything is High Definition and shows clearly. Great to watch movies, tv shows or even play games on(consoles and laptops). Sound Quality The sound works great. It plays a lot louder then I would have thought. Sounds Just like a movie theatre. That is one of its really good points. Durability It's a very durable Tv. It does not wobble and moving it is easy and stress frea. Design This Tv may not be the best design to some people, But to me this Tv looked great. It looks like any other tv to me and for the way it works so well, it doesn't matter how it looks. Performance Overall, this is one of the best Tvs out there. The picture is wonderful and crispy, the sound, sounds like your sitting in a movie theatre, it's a strong tv with no weak spots, and the design great. It's a great purchase to make if your looking for a smaller 32' Tv. You can see it from across the room with no problem at all. I would reccomend it to anyone looking to purchase a 32' Tv.

It's smaller than what many people buy nowadays, but it does it's job great. 32 inches is plenty for anyone to watch on, and you won't have any regrets getting it. The design of the TV is ok but nothing to gush over. There's options to choose the screen mode, as with any TV, and the TV is perfect with HD programming.

This is one powerful, crisp, fantastic 32 inch television! I received this television as a gift and it is an insanely powerful and high quality television. The picture quality on this television surpasses many others! The colors while watching a program on TV are so crisp and clear it is almost like you are there. When watching a sports program on the television such as football you can pretty much see the individual blades of grass on the fresh turf. Honestly I can not say enough good and positive things about this television set because it fits in any room very comfortably and perfectly and allows you to watch High Definition television with ease! (If you have the High Definition channels purchased that is!) I can say with sincere honesty that I highly recommend this television to anyone who wants a high quality television to watching things or video game in high definition!

I would not be able to live without my emerson tv. I watch so much tv and movies, it's my life. I am really happy with this tv. I got it at walmart and it was a great price compared to the rest which was the best part and the picture quality is great! One of the things also that I liked about it was the menu screen size, it's large and easy to see. It's a pretty sturdy tv and has the option to be mounted on a wall or comes with a stand which I like and also it has enough plug in cable spots for all your dvd, dvr or gameing needs which I like, the buttons the tv are hid on the side which I also like. Ive had this tv for about 6 years now and I have never had any problems with it. The only thing that I do have an issue with is that the sound doesn't go very loud, even at the highest level, I would have liked that to go higher but thats really all I dont like about it.

The only thing that keeps me liking this TV is the wonderful picture it has, WHEN IT IS WORKING. The TV was cheap, when bought it on Black Friday. The Emerson company has stood behind the warranty both times and repaired the TV. I just hate doing without my TV everytime I send it to be repaired.

We've had our tv for about 5 years and it has gone through 2 moves and a 3 year old. It is very durable. It's not as light or as flat as the newer tv's but it's a great tv. The picture quality is great. We use this in our room and it is the perfect size. We've had this mounted and on a dresser and it is great either way. I have only 2 very small issues. Sometimes (and it's very rare this happens) is when I change channel, the volume stops working. It goes completely silent. I can't turn it up, unmute,nothing. I have to completely turn the tv off and turn it on. It's weird and I've found no reason for it, but it happens so few and far in between that it's not a big deal. Second issue is the time between flipping channels. There is a longer pause than other tv's in between the channels. Again, not sure why but it's always been like this. It's a lot longer when I go between a regular channel to an HD channel, but it's not huge issue. When we wall mounted it, it was very hard to get to the cable and to get the mount connected to the back. I think this is more of a mount issue, but they leave very little room when mounting in the back. Just something to think about. Overall though, this is a great tv either for your living room or just as a spare in another room. Good value and great quality.

We bought this TV two years ago, and it has served us well. We don't have HD channels, so I can't speak for the image quality with that, but the quality has been just great for us under normal circumstances. We watch a lot of online television by connecting via an HDMI cable, and this works wonderfully. The down side is that there are not enough inputs to plug more than a couple of things in at a time. The screen is also a little small for a large room, so we recently upgraded and move this TV to our kids' room for them to play the Wii. It fits perfectly in there. Picture Quality We've enjoyed the quality of the picture, but we don't use it for HD. Sound Quality This TV has a pretty good sound, and the volume range is great. Durability We've used it for a couple of years with no issues. Design It can seem a little top heavy at times, but this hasn't been a real issue. Also it could use more inputs. Performance This TV has done everything we've wanted it to do!

We have this in our living room - not our family room with the game systems - so it's our day-to-day TV. Large enough to see just fine, but small enough that we have it wall mounted with a full-motion mount. Picture Quality Very clear. Have HD service and channels are very sharp. Sound Quality We have it set up with a surround sound system, so we don't really rely on the sound of the TV itself. Durability Kids handle it, change the input options, volume and channels and everything is holding up! Design Not sure if it's the fault of the wall mount, or the TV but some of the plugs on the back are tricky to get to. Performance This TV has everything we need for where it's at in the house, but if we wanted to plug xbox and wii into it, we'd have some issues.
