Best one I've ever had.
I have lived in a house with a basement that requires a dehumidifier for over 30 years. I've used a lot of name brands that did not last very long during this time. I have found that having them repaired is not financially feasible. Five years ago I purchased an Edison on the recommendation of a relative who worked in a hardware store. It has worked well with no problems. It has a control that allows the selection of the degree of dryness desired. I change this a lot depending on the outdoor temperature and humidity to get the level of moisture in the air that is desirable. It is easy to empty, and I really appreciate that. I had one previously that had a water bucket that was hard to remove and reinstall. In wet weather, it has to be emptied often making this a real problem. It can easily be fixed to use a hose for draining if there is a sewer set up to allow that. It is small and attractive. It looks like a nice piece of furniture and is available in neutral colors that could be used with any décor. It was a brand with which I was not familiar, and I'm so glad that I found it. I would recommend it to anyone that has a problem requiring the use of such an appliance.
