I've used this self-tanning lotion a couple times and when I did I saw results within weeks or less! At first I didn't know what to think or if it even worked, but as soon as my sister started using it I could tell it really was working. Something people should know before using this lotion is that they should also apply the facial self-tanning lotion, not just the body lotion. Since my skin is pretty pastey, I chose the shade meant for those with fair skin. Since self-tanners haven't worked very well on me in the past, I was pretty cautious with this stuff, and started out by putting it on after I'd covered myself in my usual daily lotion. Doing this seemed to build a very, very, very slight change in color, so I decided to try it without the lotion, the way it was meant to be used. Even though I live in sunny South Florida, I am naturally fair-skinned and have had no success tanning. Always burn! I never really tried self-tanners because I could never find a shade that looked natural on my skin and didn't make it obvious to everyone who knows me that I just applied a self-tanner. Dove Energy Glow Daily Moisturizer and Self Tanning Lotion is the best self tanner I have found yet, and I've tried at least a dozen.  Most spell horriffic or make you blotchy.  Dove's self tanner is a nice scent, not to strong and works wonders.  I love to stay tan year round and Dove has helped me achive that.  Just rub it in and go, no blotches, streaks or bad smells to deal with.  Perfect color, no oranges.  Within an hour or two your skin is the perfect shade of brown, with a nice glow.  I highly recommed it.  Almost forgot the price, it's average… read full review »

I have very fair skin which tends to be a problem with the majority of most self- tanners. Dove increased color with each application so it didn't make me to dark and looked like it was a gradual process like a real tan. Another problem I also have with most self tanners is streaking. This applied evenly, i didn't have any blochiness. Again it looked to be very natural. The only problem I had with this product was having to wash from palms immediatly. This product gave me little to no result. Yes, it moisturized very well, however the tanning component wasn't very effective. I didn't notice my skin changing at all throughout the whole bottle I used over an extended period of time. However, as mentioned, it was very moisturizing, not something I would recommend for self-tanning. Bath and Body Works has an amazing product that works wonders. It's called "Strike Gold." This Dove self tanner is the best one I have seen yet.  It is fairly in expensive and easy to use.  I wanted to be tan for my senior prom and this surely did the trick.  I only needed to apply it a few days and I have a lovely glow to my skin! I have used Dove energy glow lotion a few times, I love the product because it doesn't smell bad like some other lotions, it leaves your skin feeling moisturized and it really makes you tan without the hassel of going to the tanning bed or laying out and getting harmful UV rays.  I would recommend this product if you needed a nice tan but you don't want to lay out.  Its a great product for getting that last minuet tan.… read full review »
