This vacuum is great if you travel a lot or if you live in a small apartment or something. Obviously, it would be hard to vacuum a whole floor with this tiny thing, but it works great for corners or hard to reach places. It's definitely good if you go from house to hour or apartment to apartment (or even hotel room to hotel room) and you want to vacuum a small space. It's on the cheaper side, as well, which is great for people on a budget. I bought this for my dorm room last year and it worked on the hardwood as well as the tile of the bathroom. Since the room was so small, it was perfect as a big vacuum would have been a hassle to store and use. It reaches under small spaces (like under my bed and desk) and it is easy to handle and control. I recommend highly for college kids or for people living in a cramped space where a regular sized vacuum is not an option. Versatility It works great vacuuming up anything except doing a whole floor (it can do a whole floor, but it would be a lot longer and harder to use this than to use a regular sized vacuum).

I purchased the Dirt Devil Scorpion Quick Flip Hand Vac to use in my pickup truck. I've had success with Dirt Devil Vacuums in the past so I knew this would be a decent buy at worse. My first impression of this vacuum is that it is very powerful for it size and price. This device has excellent suction power. I vacuumed my floor mats and they looked just as good as the day I purchased them. I'm able to reach deep in between seats with ease because of this device. The best thing about this device is that it doesn't require a bag. I was able to clean my entire vehicle without worrying about blowing the bag out. The removal debris cup has a decent capacity and it takes several cleanings before I need to empty the device. The only down side to this device for me is that it doesn't have a rotating brush, but it does come with a brush attachment. When I move the vacuum back and forth it creates a rotating effect. I would definitely recommend the Dirt Devil Scorpion Quick Flip Hand Vac to anyone looking for a quality vacuum at a low price for the car.

I use the Dirt Devil Scorpion Quick Flip Hand Vacuum largely for valeting the interior of my car. With two children, my car can get messy rather too quickly. This handy little lightweight hand vacuum allows me to keep on top of the messes and keep my car clean. I like that this hand vacuum is lightweight and compact. This makes it perfect for getting into all the nooks and crannies. The suction is satisfactory. It is no where near as powerful as my Dirt Devil Dynamite or my stick vac, but it is powerful enough to pick up dust, hair, food crumbs and other messes. It does a nice job of getting my car mats looking like new again which I am thankful for because without this vac I fear they would need to be replaced already. Due to its rather compact size it makes it great for reaching into small areas, which makes it ideal for cleaning cars, car seats or countertops. I like the quick flip feature, this little nozzle which is built inside the vacuum flips down and provides a nice little suction funnel which helps to concentrate the suction and ensure that everything is sucked up inside the vacuum and not just blown around. The battery life is on the short side. I do wish that the life of the battery lasted longer and as such I do have to be mindful of this whenever I am using this vacuum. It becomes rather obvious when the battery needs to be recharged as the motor sound slower and suction becomes infinitely worse to the point of it being next to useless and so it is important to make sure this is always fully charged. Overall, I am pleased with my purchase and ownership of the Dirt Devil Scorpion. This is a good value and serves its purpose. I would recommend this hand vacuum, especially for those looking for a lightweight hand vacuum to keep their cars clean and tidy.

I found it to be quite cumbersome to carry around from car to car. That's the only reason we bought one. And, I'll not ever buy one again. This is the second one I bought, forgot that it wasn't that great a product. Maneuverability It was difficult for me to carry because I've had surgery on both hands, and drop a lot of things. At first, I just blamed my injured hands. But, then my brother had a go of it, and he didn't like it either. Ease of Maintenance There really isn't much to maintain with a Dirt Devil. Just empty it. Suction Performance I can't give it any higher rating because I expected a lot more. A long, long, time ago, I had one, and just didn't remember that it wasn't all that great. I made another mistake. Versatility I wouldn't use this category for describing a Dirt Devil. It does only one thing, and not very good at it. Design It's the same as it was years, and years ago, when it first arrived on the market. Durability I'd have to guess on that because I gave the first one away, and may be doing the same thing with this one. Donating.

I love this vacuum. This dirt devil is a great little vacuum and very easy to use. It is great because it has a nice clear plastic spout that comes out in order to reach the corners and small spaces. In addition, it doesn't require batteries and comes with a cord to recharge it. After it is charged it lasts for a decent amount of time, where I can use it for a few days without having to plug it back in. The suction is relatively good but if the vacuum is not emptied the suction gets worse. I like the design because it is very light and a cute little red accessory, and it is also very durable. Even though it is a plastic vacuum, I have dropped it many times and have had it for about 5 years, and there are no cracks in it even though it's been with me through many different moves back and forth from my dorm to my home. In addition, the price was excellent. I am a college student on a tight budget that needs to spend well. I didn't want to just buy any old cheap vacuum that would break in a year, but I also didn't need the highest end vacuum that would break my bank. This vacuum was a great compromise.

I love my Dirt Devil Scorpion Quick Flip Hand Vac #BD10050. I have an eight year old boy and a ten year old girl, 3 dogs, 2 cats, and a fiance. This vacuum saves my life when it comes to small spills or stairways especially. It's impossible to use a regular vacuum on a stairway but with the cordless, Dirt Devil Scorpion, it's light-weight and easy to store; and so easy to pull out and clean up quick messes. I especially love that it's cordless. I don't think I have a bigger annoyance than cords being everywhere. They really drive me crazy. I'd give this product a 4 1/2 star rating out of 5. Also it's affordable. Versatility Use on stairs, hardwood floors, carpets, to clean bugs or dirt out of window crevices. I use mine for almost everything. Also great for picking up dog hair. Design Works great and has great suction. Just keep up on the regular maintenance which is a breeze and you will have a great little handheld vacuum. Durability Very durable; my children have both dropped mine a couple times and it's still like new.

I have had this for one week and it is good for my small rooms, I live in 2 room apartment with bath and kitchett. It picks up dirt and trash from my rugs and stay charge for the two rugs I have. I have to charge for at least 6 hours before it does a good job. Durability I recommend this for small places and for people who do not have back problems. I am very happy with it.

This is good to use for in between professional car washes, especially when you have kids that drop and throw things all over the car floors and seats. I bought it for very cheap on Amazon...about 20 bucks. But I probably should have spent a little more on a better one because it doesn't pick up hair that well and I live with 3 other women! Maneuverability It isn't too big so it maneuvers wells when cleaning the car floors and seats. Ease of Maintenance It's easy to clean. Suction Performance It picks up large pieces well like food crumbs, but doesn't pick up hair that well. You have to go over the same spot several times to pick up most of the hair. Versatility The product does it's job and nothing more nor less either. Design I like the design because it's lightweight for you to carry around especially when you have to carry it out to your car and back inside the house all the time. The best thing about it is that it's cordless. Durability I've had this product for a few months and I haven't run into any problems so far. It's a rechargeable vacuum and lasts for quite a while before I have to re-charge. But I only use it for a few minutes at a time, so I'm not sure how long it lasts exactly on one battery charge.

I love using this hand vac around my house! My dog has really fine hair which seems to gather everywhere on the wood floor and around the furniture. With this vacuum, I am able to suck up the clumps of hair easily and then I just go empty the cup. I have noticed that it doesn't take long for the battery life to run down and I leave mine charging now.

I have hard wood floors all over my house and I detest sweeping. I use this handy little baby to pick up any spills like cereal, glitter, sand and more (I'm an avid crafter). It also comes in handy when cleaning crumbs off of kitchen counters and cleaning out your car. I love it.
