Inexpensive vacuum that gets the job done!

5

This is an easy to use, self explanatory and affordable vacuum- works better than the Dyson we have. I love how you can see all the junk / dust / hair in the easy to clean canister. Works great for the entire carpeted house and also the car (using the extensions)! I highly recommend this!

Easy to use vaccum

This is a good unit for the amount paid. Seems to be more cheaply put together, but it has not broke yet. I'm pleased with the unit Maneuverability Gets into most places. Cannot fit under some furniture well. Ease of Maintenance Easy to empty dirt out. Glad that no bad is needed. Suction Performance Has a good suction even when using one of the extensions. Versatility I was able to use vacuum on hard floors and stair case with the extensions. Design Design is okay. The container likes to fall out all by itself. This can be annoying. Durability I had this for a couple months so it seems to be working well. I hope it will last long.

Very good vacuum for small carpeted areas

4

I got this vacuum as a black Friday deal and couldn't be more pleased. There is not much to it, but it does a great job of sucking up dirt. It is very lightweight and easy to maneuver. It does not have height adjustment. The attachment is fine for getting into tight spaces or close to walls/baseboards. Maneuverability This vacuum is easy to maneuver. It is certainly not a Dyson, but it gets the job done without too much elbow grease or effort from you. Ease of Maintenance This vacuum is very easily opened to empty the dirt or dust out. Suction Performance So far, I am very impressed with the amount of stuff this vacuum is picking up. Versatility There is not much to this vacuum besides the basics. If you do not have more than two carpeted areas, I think this vacuum is well equipt to handle that. Design This is a very lite vacuum and easy to push. Durability This is a cheaper vacuum so I don't expect it to last for years. For the price, I would not be sad if it only lasted for a couple of years.

Fairly good, but for small areas only

This is a very inexpensive vacuum, so obviously you shouldn't be expecting it to be something amazing. I think this vacuum was a decent value for me, considering that I use it in my small apartment about once a week only. For a larger home, this would not be sufficient at all. Maneuverability Maneuverability is excellent due to the extremely light weight of this vacuum. Ease of Maintenance The canister is easy to empty and the filters are very easy to remove and wash out. The problem is that every screw on the bottom of the vacuum is like it's glued in there. I attempted to take off the bottom to make sure their wasn't a build up of hair around where the belt is because you can't get to the belt without taking the bottom off, but I was unable to loosen even one screw on the entire thing. NOT happy about that at all. Suction Performance This vacuum really only works well on medium to shaggy carpets. On low carpet it seems to be too high so the suction is seriously compromised, and not powerful enough in the first place to do a good job without being closer to the surface. Versatility The light weight somewhat compensates for the fact that there is no actual stair attachment, but doesn't entirely make up for it. It takes longer to get the stairs done well because you have to use the brush roller then go back and get the edges with the hose. Design Good basic design, just missing a key attachment. Durability For the price, this vacuum has held up well. I would not expect it to last long if one was using it on a medium to large house though. The motor sounds like it needs a break by the time I finish my little apartment.

It's ok, but not great by any means

We bought this because we are always on a budget. We knew, being a cheaper vacuum, not to expect too much out of it. However, I did expect it to actually suck up SOME stuff. Unfortunately, it never did work very well at all, and over time it's just gotten worse. To the point that now it's easier for me to just bend over and pick up as much as I can with my fingers than it is for me to try to use the vacuum cleaner. I've even taken to sweeping the carpet instead. It gets cleaner that way. Really very disappointed in this vacuum. I guess the old adage is right... you get what you pay for. Maneuverability It does maneuver around the corners of the room pretty well. Not that it matters, since it doesn't suck up anything. Ease of Maintenance Just pull off the canister and dump it... although you don't have to because it doesn't suck up anything. Suction Performance It doesn't want to pick up anything it seems like. Not even dust. I'm so disappointed. Versatility Basically for just straight vacuuming, nothing fancy.

One Of Dirt Devils Better Vacuums

5

Great suction - lightweight - easy to empty dirt cup - a little noisy but it is powerful - very reasonably priced - perfect for small to medium sized apartments - very satisfied Ease of Maintenance buy a couple extra replacement belts just in case - other reviewers have stated their belts broke fairly early on - I've had no problems for the past 3 months Suction Performance excellent on all surfaces - tackles dog hair beautifully Versatility easy to use Design it's all plastic - don't ram it into furniture and you'll be OK Durability to early to tell

Tiny Sucker!

For what I needed, this vacuum does the trick! I live in a small apartment, so there's no way I'd want some huge contraption taking up valuable space in my closet. When I opened the box, it reminded me of a child's toy, but the performance quickly turned that view around. I vacuumed my carpet with my old huge vacuum right before I put together this one (you have to snap the handle in place) and the Dirt Devil picked up one and a half canisters more dirt, dust, and pet hair. On top of that, it's small enough to pick up the whole thing and roll it over my couch and upholstered chairs. This thing is a breeze to handle, and it bends low enough to get under my bed and under the dining chairs. One thing I would note, however, is that if you let the canister get too full, emptying it out can be a hassle because everything gets stuck at the top of the canister where there's a narrow passageway. Other than that emptying it is easy, just lift the canister out and push a button. Easy peasy! Maneuverability It's small, bendy, and lightweight, you can take it anywhere. Ease of Maintenance Sometimes clumps of pet hair and dust can get stuck at the top of the canister if you don't pay attention to cleaning it out before it gets full. User error. Suction Performance It is good, just clean out the canister and rinse the reusable filter pad and you should be set Versatility Can do floors, couches (I used to have a tiny brush to do my whole couch and it would take forever, now I just run this over my couch!), under furniture, stairs. Design Nice and small, the canister is great, love the telescoping handle to save space. Durability Works great after a year

Not a huge fan of this vacuum. Maneuverability goes back and forth. Ease of Maintenance Keep it clean by emptying the canister. Suction Performance Doesn't suck work nothing! Versatility Hoses fall off and extra heads always fall off. Design The design isn't bad. It's light and easy to push. Durability One drop and things break off.

Dirt Devil Cyclonic Vacuum never worked well

1

Dirt Devil UD20010 Bagless Upright Cyclonic Vacuum never worked well since I got it. I was very deceived with the brand for a lot of reasons, but I will write first how it did not work. It is a light weight vacuum and I was not expecting much from it, but it would not pick up even the lightest crumb on carpet florr. It worke a little bit better on ceramic flooring, but I needed for my carpet, which is not big. The problem is that I did a extended warranty, but, because I was working a lot I just let it pass, since I only have one bedroom with carpet. When I tried to contact target extended warranty they told me that because it was still under manufacturer warranty I had to contact Dirt Devil directly. I did and the customer service was terrible, the lady  did not do anything for me. SO now I am stuck with the vacuum. But anyways, I do not recommend this vacuum first because it does not work well and second the customer service is awful.
