This is a great little deep fryer, if you're just serving a small group. My husband and I got it for just cooking for ourselves. There's nothing really fancy about this guy, but that also makes it pretty easy to use. We got it mainly to fry frozen french fries. But, we've used it to fry mushrooms, and other veggies, as well as tried to make doughnuts. The doughnuts didn't really work well, but I don't blame the fryer. It's not going to do a lot at once, and if you are trying serve more than two people, the first batch might get cold before you pop in the second. But, that's okay with us. It's super small, stores well, and it cleans well, too. The oil doesn't seem to stay at an even temp, after cooking one batch to the next, but with such a small capacity, it seems to heat back up pretty quickly.

My husband and I purchased this deep fryer shortly after getting married. I had never had a deep fryer before, but my husband had. We used this deep fryer for about 6 months before sending it to Good Will. Overall, I just didn't feel like it was worth all the extra work. For the taste and quality of the fried food that the Deni 9301 Deep Fryer produced, it was easier to simply heat oil in a pan and fry food that way. It was inconvenient to store, and required an insane amount of oil to work. I also felt that this deep fryer required a lot of work to clean -way more work than worth the flavor it produced. It also would acquire grime quickly. I was extremely disappointed with our purchase. I suppose, though, for this model and quality you do get your moneys worth. I just wouldn't recommend it unless you eat a LOT of fried food. This product wasn't worth it for me.

This is an awesome deep fryer i purchased it after my 7 year old one finally stopped working and was scared that i wasnt gonna find anything as good as it til i got this .omg i couldnt believe how great it was.its the perfect size for my family and frys very good .my husband even loves using it.and you dont have to worry about having this big greasy mess all over you kitchen counters when you done cause of the lid its great.i love this product so much.i couldnt wait to you use it the day i recieved it and it didnt cost much at all.we love frying chicken wings and we can make about a dozen at a time its great.so if you would want a good deep fryer this would be the one because i didnt go wrong buying and and you wont either
