I bought my first Cuisinart in 1986...When it finally died I had no hesitation in purchasing another Cuisinart. The 14 cup one is perfect for doing larger batches of food for company . The cleanup is a snap. It comes with several blades that do all the functions you really need. I have made bread dough in the workbowl, ground up cranberries and oranges for relish, processed loads of coleslaw and shredded carrots for carrot cake -all in the same day for this past Christmas dinner. Without a heavy duty machine like this doing all of these tasks in one day would not be possible. I believe this machine is even better than my original. It is heavier and makes less sound when processing. And it is very attractive.
