Mows the lawn well.

Comments about Craftsman 6.75 Torque 190cc 21'' Push Lawn Mower:

We have about an acre of lawn in total and I did not want to, or have the money to, buy a riding lawn mower that would not really be used for that large of an area. I wanted to make sure the mower that I bought was easy to push and would get the job done quickly but most importantly that it would do the job well. I settled on this Craftsman 6.75 Toque push lawn mower. I am very satisfied with it. It is easy to start up and it pushes very easily, even up the slight slope that we have in our backyard, it makes it easy and quick to get it done. The bag actually holds a whole lot of the cut grass if it is not super long, I only have to empty it about three times for my entire yard as long as my grass has not gotten out of control. It does not need a lot of gas and actually a tank in it lasts a long time without having to be refilled. This mower will shut off if the bag gets full or if you hit something like a large rock, which is nice because you can not overfill the bag. This mower will be used for many years in our house and I could not be happier with its performance.

Craftsman 6.75 lawn mower gets the job done.

Comments about Craftsman 6.75 Torque 190cc 21'' Push Lawn Mower:

This Craftsman mower has been "ridden hard and put away wet" more times than I care to admit. I do hose it down after most uses, but not always. It always starts - always. Our neighbor's very expensive foriegn brand mower has been in the shop every year and fails to start in the cooler months. They borrow our Craftsman because it always starts. Now, they say it doesn't leave as nice a cut as theirs does, which might be true, but then again, it might help if I sharpen the blade every once in a while. It is as simple a mower as you can get other than a manual rotary mower. A little maintanence, gasoline and away it goes. The oil gets changed every few years, the air filter as well. It gets hosed down after each use - usually. Other than that, it just goes. No special treatment, no seasonal tune-ups. Some will say I'm foolish treating it this way, but it's just a mower, and a good one at that especially for the price.

Affordable Durable Mower

Comments about Craftsman 6.75 Torque 190cc 21'' Push Lawn Mower:

I bought this mower looking for a rugged budget model and haven't been dissapointed. The large back wheels are great for mowing over my bumpy backyard and seem to make it a bit easier to push up small slopes. The mower as advertized is easy to start and I've yet to have to take more than one attempt to rev it up even after being left unused for an extended period of time. Maintenace is pretty basic and minimal with oil and filter changes recommended every year although that even seems a bit excessive judging by the light color and lack of heavy particule in the oil or on the air filter. The blade it came with however was a bit dissapointing, I had to sharpen it within the first year and even then it's never cut as smooyhly as I'd like.
