Cascade Complete vs. Electrasol Advanced Dishwashing Detergent Reviews

I was asked to review and or compare Cascade Complete and Electrasol Advanced dishwasher detergent. We use our dishwasher constantly. I think someone comes in and puts their dishes in our washer! These are both 75- ounce bottles (A somewhat heavy bottle) and can be bought in the $5.00 range.

Cascade Complete Liquid vs. Electrasol Advanced Liquid Dishwashing Detergents

The epic battle between two different liquid dishwashing detergents was set to take place in my house, after receiving both of them as test products.  In the past I have used Cascade's powder detergents quite often, and with the chance to try out both Cascade's and Electrasol's liquid detergents, I was up for the challenge.  We do a lot of dishes in our house, and it isn't uncommon to have the dishwasher running at night when we head off to bed.  The delayed timer is really a nice thing to have, so we will...

I'm all for trying  new products and comparing them against my preferred products. I've been using Electrasol for years. I decided to pick up some Cascade complete because it was on sale and that it would give me an opportunity to test out something new.

I loaded up the dishes in our dishwasher as usual. Filled the compartments and started the machine on the same settings as always. When the cycle was finished I opened up the machine to find a terrible film on the dishes close to the liquid soap dispenser. Cascade gel dishwasher detergent is in my humble opinion the best product available on the market today.  I have recently moved into my own home and have started using the gel as I feel that really deep cleans my dishes well.  We have a full dishwasher load every night so this is used often.  I have tried other brands-all other brands and many different additives to enhance their performance, but none compare to Cascade gel.  I have also used the gel packs which are extremely neat and convenient but prefer the actual gel.  I think the gel itself gets to work immediately on my dishes and leaves...

Cascade Complete has always been my favorite.  I like the convenient pour spout and the handle and I love that it is liquid so I can just pour it right out.  The smell is good, but when it gets on my hands it's hard to wash off.  I sticks to skin.  I gets my dishes a great clean and doesn't leave spots.  My dishes dry well with Cascade and I love the price and get coupons often, which always helps.  I love the smell.  It is very light and fresh and clean smelling.

Now for Electrasol, well, I think that they both do a great job and I didn't really find anything that I didn't like about either...

I have used Cascade Complete for several years now and am always dissatisfied when I try to "cheap out" and use a different produce other then the complete version.

The Cascade Complete dishwasher dishwashing detergent does the job right without leaving a film on my dishes.  It does not matter which scent--just choose one that you like and stick with this product.

Others sometimes do not get the dishes completely clean, or leave a film.  Cascade Complete is pretty expensive compared to other brands, but worth the money!

Cascade Complete cleans our dishes, glasses, and utensils very well.  It is reasonablly priced too.
