Calvin Klein's Escape is one of my favorite perfumes ever.And that says a lot as I have dozens and dozens of perfumes in my collection.I first bought this many years ago when it first came out and have been buying it ever since.It has a very fresh and sexy smell.It reminds me of a day at the ocean and the fresh smell of the air and water.I find that the smell lasts a long time and always garners many compliments from both men and woman.It is a fragrance that stands out from other perfumes and once you smell it, you never forget it.I do like to layer it with the Escape lotion but you do not have...

The first time I smelled this fragrance was when one of my male co-workers told me he loved the way one of our customers smelled. I went over and subtly smelled her, and it smelled like a cross between and ocean breeze and a tropical garden. At first chance, I went to my department store and bought a bottle, hoping that it would smell as good on me. It's perfect for the sultry summer nights when you want a fragrance that's not too overpowering, and it always gets me compliments.
This is by far the best fragrance out there. No other perfume connects with my body chemistry so well. I am constantly complimented on my scent, no matter where I go. This fragrance is sensual, sexy, and just totally delicious. I wear this everyday, even if I am just sitting around the house. The scent lasts all day, even when you can't smell it others still can. I am a huge Calvin Klein fragrance fan, and he definitely hit this one right on the nose.
Calvin Klein Escape does not wear well on me after the top notes dissipate. I love the way it holds it own for the first ten minutes or so, but then, on me, it becomes musty and overwhelmingly unpleasant. It lasts, too. Even a little can be perceived after a shower.
I think Escape by Calvin Klein has changed the formula. I have worn it for years and the last two years it hasn't been the same. Can not smell it as well as before and don't get near the compliments that I once did. Very dissatisfied with Calvin Klein!
