Most HelpfulOpium is my favorite perfume. I initially tried it, because I read in a magazine that it was Cher's favorite perfume. Yes. That Cher. I'll date myself here, but I loved watching the Sonny and Cher TV show when I was a girl. When I hit my teens, I continued to follow her career, and I started buying Opium...

Most HelpfulI think it is old smell, sorry. If you are 20-40, you want to go with something different for sure.
It has a classic smell. Yes, not bad, but you can do better then that. My husband would call it " grandma smell", and I am not a grandma for another 10 years at least.
I love the fragrance, Opium. What I love about it is that it has never changed since it first came on the market 1000 years ago. The smell is so sensual and intoxicating. Remember, use only a little. It is very pungent.
This fragrance reminds me of being in the Orient in the 1940's. It has a very warm, exotic aroma.
I am 31 years old and started wearing Opium when I was 17 years old. Opium is one of those scents that reminds me of a refined older woman. My father was the one who gifted me my first bottle. He always said I was an old soul.
Opium is spicy, rich and warm. It's classy and refined. Opium to me, is the scent of a woman.
I got my first bottle of Charlie when I was married. I'm now 26 and it is still my all-time favorite. I get compliments all the time when I wear Charlie from men and women (makes me want to come out of the closet). I've been stopped on the street to ask what I'm wearing because they want it to.
I recieved this scent as a present one year for my birthday and I have worn nothing else since. It has such a beautiful musky scent that lasts all day. It's not really compairable with any other fragrance I have tried to date. I am tired of smelling so many fragrances that smell like flowers or candy-ish.
