Opium is my favorite perfume. I initially tried it, because I read in a magazine that it was Cher's favorite perfume. Yes. That Cher. I'll date myself here, but I loved watching the Sonny and Cher TV show when I was a girl. When I hit my teens, I continued to follow her career, and I started buying Opium...

I think it is old smell, sorry. If you are 20-40, you want to go with something different for sure.

It has a classic smell. Yes, not bad, but you can do better then that.  My husband would call it " grandma smell", and I am not a grandma for another 10 years at least.

Opium is a classic.  Very rich and powerful.  A little bit is all you need.  This fragrance is superior in not only its scent (oriental) but how it makes you feel (Wonder Woman!).  Opium....there's always a time to wear it.  I discovered this scent while I was in my twenties and loved it ever since.  I have found that sometimes the more expensive things are worth the price.  I'd rather pay for something that will last than to have a scent wear off in an hour (boring!!!).

It is a fragrance that has been around for a while. It is an exotic and very distinctive scent It is great for a night on the town, but way too heavy for the office. A sexy, night time fragrance. Moderate in price as far as perfumes go. Would not recommend for younger users, more for the thirty plus age group. Not a fragrance that you can wear every day. Also it is too high price range for  the youngerset, while older users will find it  in the moderate price range.

If you are into mild perfumes, Opium perfume from YSL is NOT the perfume for you...This has a strong and almost spicy fragrance to it...A little goes a long way...I love it...Its great for a special occasion like an anniversary or a birthday...Don't make the mistake of sspraying this perfume all over the first time you get it, it could give people a headache because of the stong fragrance...

Opium by Yves St. Laurent is and was one one my evening favorites from the early 1980's.  It is spicy, oriental, very sexy.  It reminds me of sandalwood, jasmine, incense, warm nights in the Orient and in my favorite Indian restaurants.  Compelling.  Women ask as often as men "who smells so wonderful?", because it has almost no girly floral trributes.

This has a unique sandlewood fragrant has a nice earthy, spicy, woodsy scent. It only requires a few drops place on the pulse point to drive your man wild! I would recommend this product for you to buy for yourself or for you to receive from your significant other! Buy this is the smaller bottle as it last a long time and can get stronger after a year or so!

I love the fragrance, Opium.  What I love about it is that it has never changed since it first came on the market 1000 years ago.  The smell is so sensual and intoxicating.  Remember, use only a little.  It is very pungent.

This fragrance reminds me of being in the Orient in the 1940's.  It has a very warm, exotic aroma.

This is a timeless fragrance. It has been around for years and will be around forever. It cost a little more and is well worth the money. If it was no longer sold in stores I would start searching the internet to find it. You can put it on in the morning and still smell it at 5 in the evening. A timeless classic. There will never be another fragrance to match it.

I used to use Opium all of the time and love the spice frangrances. This is so easy smelling and men love it! I always got many many compliments when I wore it and it was always a favorite gift to give. I remember the first time I used Opium is way back when when I started dating. Maybe that's why I never had any problems having second, third...dates.

I am 31 years old and started wearing Opium when I was 17 years old. Opium is one of those scents that reminds me of a refined older woman. My father was the one who gifted me my first bottle. He always said I was an old soul.

Opium is spicy, rich and warm. It's classy and refined. Opium to me, is the scent of a woman.

I got my first bottle of Charlie when I was married.  I'm now 26 and it is still my all-time favorite.  I get compliments all the time when I wear Charlie from men and women (makes me want to come out of the closet).  I've been stopped on the street to ask what I'm wearing because they want it to.

I recieved this scent as a present one year for my birthday and I have worn nothing else since. It has such a beautiful musky scent that lasts all day. It's not really compairable with any other fragrance I have tried to date. I am tired of smelling so many fragrances that smell like flowers or candy-ish.

Opium is classic. You don't need use very much and it smells different on everyone. After you spray it on it adjusts to your body chemistry. It's expensive but it's worth every penny and it lasts forever.I love the heady, musky scent which lingers on.
