My husband bought this perfume for me as a gift -- way to go, Honey!  I'm picky about scents, especially what scents I put on my body.  I've stuck with one perfume for years -- since high school -- and I figured it was time for a new scent -- a more adult scent for me now  that I'm a adult.  My husband picked this one out, and I don't think I could have done better myself.  It's a sophisticated scent, and very feminine --without being sickly sweet.  It's a little pricey, but I don't wear it every day -- just on date nights, or special occasions.  It seems a little too fancy for me to wear just for a day at home with the kids.  The scent fades a little too fast for my liking, also -- but I'd rather have it that way than have it be too overwhelming.  There's nothing worse than feeling like a walking perfume bottle.  All in all, it's a great-smelling perfume that suits me well.  I would definitely recommend it!

my first obsession with jadore was when the first ads came out with charlize theron. i loved all the gold in the ad, and then when they showed the bottle, which kind of looks like a stack of bangles on an arm, i was enamored. i went to my local macys to try a sample, and i was surprised at how well it went with my body chemistry. its very important that one tries on a perfume before buying it, since it may have excellent reviews but if it doesnt smell good on you, dont get it! this one has gotten me so many compliments, i cant begin to even count. its my evening wear perfume because while it smells divine, its defenitely very heavy to wear on a day to day basis. i bought the large bottle along with the lotion, and when you layer the lotion with the perfume, it lasts quite a long time. i know they came out with an EDT version, but i would reccomend the EDP, as that lasts much longer. highly recommended!

I'm a beauty/perfume/makeup junkie - I love all kinds from both ends of the spectrum. I think it's possible to find great products at incredible bargain prices, and by the same token, the priciest products aren't always so awesome. One more expensive product that I believe is worth the money is Christian Dior's perfume, J'Adore. It's light and sophisticated without being overbearing, or totally overwhelming you. Some fragrances seem to envelop you in a cloud; J'Adore is not like that. It's much more subtle than other perfumes, and the longer you wear it, the more layers and notes you can identify. For a woman who wants her perfume to act as an accessory, not the main act, J'Adore is the perfect choice. It's elegant and feminine, and even the bottle is gorgeous: A teardrop shaped bottle with a slim, tall gold-ringed top, it looks simple, sophisticated, and refined, much like the fragrance itself.

Christian Dior J'Adore is just amazing. I have never been a perfume user because it is very difficult for me to find a scent that is not overpowering or something that I would not mind smelling everyday. I am not a fan of the woodsy or exotic scents but instead prefer the clean, feminine scents. I received a sample of J'Adore and was taken aback by how wonderful it smelled. The fragrance notes consist of floral orchids, violets, rose and blackberry musk, a sensual aroma. Although it is recommended for daytime use, this can definitely also be used for the evening. J'Adore is a clean, fresh scent and I believe that it is versatile enough to be used for any time or occasion. Although it is expensive, you do not need to use a lot when putting in on. It is long-lasting and I can imagine using it for many years to come because of its classic fragrance. I would definitely recommend stopping by a department store to sample the perfume!

I have been using this perfume for many years now, and though many fragances have come and gone since then, it has become my signature scent!  I love it because the scent is not overpowering, and it smells like luxury!  One of the great things about this scent for me, is how it makes me feel.  When we smell something, even if it's for the first time, we tend to associate it with something.  For me, that something is a feeling of sexyness!  Even if I'm having a rough, 'I don't feel very pretty today' kind of day, I can always put this on, and it really makes me feel not only better, but almost invincible!  Does that sound like too much?  I don't think so!  If I'm going to spend good money on a luxury item, I want it to make me feel great about myself.  I get compliments on how nice I smell all the time!  I often tell my husband I'm glad this is my 'signature' scent, because when I'm an old lady, I'll still smell sexy to him! :)

Christian Dior's J'Adore is a sophisticated, very feminine scent. The perfume features floral notes with musk an a bit of green in the back. There is the most subtle hint of citrus. This is a high quality perfume. It's not boutique, like something you'd buy in Paris, but high-middle end of department store perfumes. Fantasically, around the holidays yo can find all kinds of pretty sets. J'Adore lasts throughout the day. I like to layer all of my perfumes by buying both the lotion and the spray perfume. I love catching a whiff of my Dior later in the day! The packaging is also very attractive. I bought this perfume after having tried it in one of those magazine inserts. So, though Dior J'Adore can be a bit pricey, it is a sensual and sophisticated perfume that wears well. It shows its quality in its packaging and in its scent life. I highly recommend this perfume -- especially as a gift!

Most times I wear another Dior Fragrance, Hypnotic Poison, but there are times it's just not appropriate.  That's when J'Adore comes in.   Perfect for hot summer days when a heavier fragrance would be overwhelming or for those work occassions when a more seductive fragrance would be inappropriate.  Light, feminine, yet with a bit of a twist.  The light citrus and woody notes keep this perfume from being too dainty.  It's something you can picture the ingenue in an old movie wearing- a bit innocent, but not naive, and definately very feminine.  Even the bottle is delicate looking, tall and slender and devoid of any color outside the gold trim and the golden color of the perfume itself, visible inside.  And speaking from experience, the bottle is strong enough to handle at least a short drop to the floor. The one downside is that the scent is so light and subtle that is can fade faster than I'd prefer.  Department stores often offer the matching lotion as part of a gift with purchase, and layering them seems to work quite well.
