**I love my Chi Straightener but I've realized that, for some reason, the black Chi's seem to work better/straighten better than Chi's that have designs on them. I had a pink designed Chi before this one and it worked just about the same as the one I have now. My Texas Flag Straightener and the pink one I had prior to this are both very durable and do their jobs well but for some reason everytime I use a solid black Chi straightener, it takes the straightener less time to straighten my hair and I don't have to keep going over the same strand a million times until it's straightened. Also, my hair seems to stay straight for a longer period time after using the black straightener as compared to the two straighteners with designs on them. I have used multiple Chi's with designs and multiple Chi's that are solid black (my friends' straighteners) and the black ones ALWAYS seem to work better!!!**
