Burt's Bees Beeswax Lip Balm Review Summary

Burt's Bees Beeswax Lip Balm is a big hit for Burt's Bees. All of our reviewers love it! This natural lip balm softens, hydrates, and heals chapped lips and makes lips tingle. The minty scent is loved as well by our reviewers. Although this little balm stick is a tad pricey, it's worth it because it really hydrates even the driest lips, say our budget conscious reviewers. I love this product.  All natural, good for you, good for the environment.  What's best is that no animals were killed or tortured for the making of this product.  I keep a tube in my car, my truck, my husbands truck, in the kitchen, in the bathroom, on my desk, and in my coat pocket.  Especially in the winter time, I NEVER want to be without this product. — Burt's Bees lip balm leaves your lips soft and moisturized.  I would recommend this product to anyone. — Since discovering Burt's Bees, I have thrown out all of my petroleum-laden products like… read full review »

My sister recommended it because she can't live without it.  I tried hers and have been hooked ever since.  My mom got me a pack of several different flavors of it for Christmas last year.  It had the original, honey, and pommegrante.  I loved the honey, but the pommegrante tastes like soap.  It leaves a weird aftertase.  I say, don't mess with the original!!  I love it.  I have pretty sensitive skin as well, and flavored lip balms sometimes make me itch, and this has never irritated my face, so it is definitely a… read full review »

I love my Burts!  It's all I use!  It's the best lip balm I've used.  The only thing I don't like is that I feel that I have to re-apply it very often.  But overall I love Burts products and cosmetics.  I only wish they still made them! —… read full review »

I'm a lip balm fanatic and I always have two different types of Burt's Bees Beeswax Lip Balm in the house - the small tin and the lip balm stick. — — About Burt's Bees Beeswax Lip Balm — Burt's Bees, the natural product company that started in Maine but now resides in North Carolina, calls their lip balm the "world's best lip balm". I don't know about all of that, but it certainly is good. The .3 ounce tin retails for $2.50 at the Burt's Bees website. The .15 ounce lip balm stick/tube retails for $2.50 as well. I had always suspected that the two products were… read full review »

I am a lip balm junkie and always am looking for the best products to keep my lips soft and silky.  Burt's Bees is my new favorite product.  One tube retails for around $2.50, but it is definitely worth the price.  Not only does it work great, but it is all natural so you are doing something good for the environment.  It is made from a mixture of beeswax and lip smoothing extracts and it works great.  When I first used it I loved that you could feel the tingle on your lips and smell the mint.  It quickly absorbed into my lips and left them looking shiny and… read full review »

This is the cadillac of lip balms.  Simply it smells wonderful and refreshing, it's cooling, soothing and tingling when it goes on your lips.  I use this summer, fall, winter whenever. I even use this under lip gloss or stick. I cannot be without this stuff, nothing else comes close. It's relatively expensive for a tube of lip balm but it works like a charm. It's convenient to use, carry and the little tube is pretty. Geez I'm gushing. Seriously guys this is worth a try, if you've ever wanted to try Burt's Bees this would be the place to start. I have been using Burt's Bees Beeswax Lip Balm for years and have yet to find a better product on the market!  I love to try out new cosmetics and have tried tons of lip products to cure my chapped lips, but nothing works as well as Burt's Bees!  I happen to lick my lips alot and can't seem to break the habit, so I seem to always have chapped lips.  Living in upstate New York doesn't help, either.  I use Burt's Bees Lip Balm under my lipstick and/or lipgloss as well and it is very effective that way.  They changed their formula in recent years and took… read full review »

I absolutely love this Burt's Bees Lip Balm.  It softens lips and the cool tingling sensation is refreshing.  I also like that it is all natural.  I've been using Burt's Bees Lip Balm for the last 4 years and feel I have to replace it when I run out. My sister gave me my first tube and I have used it ever since.  The price has gone up in that time but at 3$ a tube I still feel like it is worth every penny.  I recently gave my brother some and he didn't like the peppermint oil in it, but Burt's Bees has such a range of products that he tried the pomegranite lip balm… read full review »

First off, I am very proud for Burt's Bees.  Originally, it was sold in little shops, like our local shop the Jasmine Tree.  Now even WalMart sells it.  I love everything organic and natural.  It's better for you.  It is well worth the price.  I always either have lip gloss or chapstick on.  I am very picky about them as well.  I only use Mark by Avon lip gloss and Burt's Bees chapstick.  It works very well for my sensitive, dry skin.  I use the pamegranate chapstick.  There is no difference, except it is flavored.  Some… read full review »

About 9 years ago I read in a magazine a list of 100 favorite beauty items submitted by readers and models & Burt's Bee's lip balm was on that list.  I took note & the next time I was in Nordstrom's I saw it and gave it a try.  I fell in love with it immediately & was shocked it was only about $3.  I immediately bought one for each of my girlfriends & they were hooked too.  I felt like I had the "IN" on a hot product because Nordstrom's was the only place I could buy it at.  Now you can find Burt's Bee's in every Walgreens.  It is a quality long lasting product… read full review »

After trying many high end and no frills drugstore lip balms, I have found that Burts Bees beeswax lip balm works the best for me.  My lips are always dry and many of the products out there do not absorb easily, and either just sits on top of my lips as a sticky layer that doesn't really moisturize, or seems to moisturize half way while the skin continues to peel and mix in with the balm - that I then have to scrub off.  Burts Bees is the only lip balm that works for me and truly moisturizes.  Also, even though I would normally pay more for designer skincare if it… read full review »

I have always had chapped lips. I used to live off of products like pertrolium jelly and other lip balms. Then I found Burt's Bees. — — I have been using Burt's Bees Lip Balm for years now. I don't buy the ones in the tin, but the ones in the tube (looks like chap stick). This not only soothes my chapped lips but it helps them from becoming more chapped. — — I buy them everytime I go to the drugstore. I keep a tube in every room in my house plus a few in my purse and at work. I've tried others, but none has the soothing effect likes Burt's. Plus, I am all for their… read full review »

I have suffered from extremely chapped lips for as long as I can remember, so I'm always on the look out for something new to keep them smooth! For years I had tubes of chap stick stashed everywhere and went through them like mad! But then my mom put a tube of Burt's Bees Beeswax Lip Balm in my Christmas stocking last year, and now I'm hooked! Burt's Bees keeps my lips smooth and is all-natural!. Also it's not tested on animals, which is a huge plus for me because I'm an avid animal lover! And Burt's Bees has a great minty scent - right after I put some on, it never fails that… read full review »

I dscovered beeswax several years ago and have never looked back.  In fact, I have converted people to the Burt's side!!  I have tubes of this stuff everywhere, spares in jackets and purses, in the car, at my office, placed strategically throughout the house.  I found myself in a state where I had to use ChapStick once recently, and I will never allow it to happen again! — Downside - I went in for replacement tubes and found they went up about 75 cents, goodness!! —… read full review »

I really love Burts Bess Lip Balm. I like that it is plain, and doesn't contain a bunch of things that I am not needing on my lips. The tingle is the best. I use both the tube and the tin, I buy it if it ever goes on sale, even if I don't need it at the time. Other chapsticks give me a weird taste in my throat, but this doesn't. I much prefer the original, but the pomegranete is also good. I don't like the honey at all. Use this under all other lip… read full review »
