Recently my husband and I were in our local home improvement store and happened upon a floor model Bosch Dishwasher at a greatly reduced price, and being inveterate bargain hunters we felt we couldn't pass up the opportunity to replace our twenty one year old Maytag dishwasher, which by the way was still working perfectly. But hey, after twenty one years? So we snapped up this black beauty and took it home. I did my on line research after the fact, and it happens that this dishwasher's reputation really lives up to the Bosch name. My husband has used Bosch power tools for years, so to him this was a perfect fit for our home. Me. I just wanted to get my dishes clean and look good doing it, so the black textured finish is great, resisting smudges and finger prints. This dishwasher is also energy efficient and usses low amounts of water, which is important in California. And my dishes sparkle!

I bought the Bosch Dishwasher about six months ago.  I was going to call a plumber to install it, but my 23 year old son took a chance and had no problem surprising me one wonderful afternoon!  Installation was a breeze, he is NOT the home improvement type.   The dishwasher is quiet, has a great capacity, and cleans the dishes quite well.  The cycle is long, but it uses very little water to clean a complete load, I just scrape the dishes and load them.  There is a delay start option which is good for running the dishwasher overnight, which helps reduce peak usage of electricity during summer cooling months.   I heartily recommend this appliance for anyone looking to buy a dishwasher.  Energy efficiency, water savings, large capacity, and quiet operation make this a great machine.  I can run it any time and not interfere with activities in the same room due to noise or heat output.  This is a great machine!

Bought the Bosch dishwasher because previous dishwasher was beginning to not clean properly (after 17 years).  This dishwasher has exceeded my expectations.  Extremely quiet and cleans superior.  Would recommend this dishwasher to anyone looking to replace or add to a new home.

The  Bosch** Evolution 500 is a great investment. We have had ours now for over seven years and have never had a problem with it. It is fairly quiet and you have several settings and depending on your settings you can have a load done quickly or if you need a deeper clean you can set it so and it will take a little longer. We have well water and a water softener and the dishes have always came out clean. I would recommend this dishwasher to friends and family and have done so.  If you want something that works well and it dependable and well worth the money.**
