A Jewel of a Scent, Inspired by an Exotic Orange

4

This is a first for me--I actually purchased a fragrant lotion and shower gel set without testing it first. The colorful, fiery-orange graphics on the bottle combined with the promise of "the sexiest citrus ever!" was all it took for me to place an online order. Scent I've always enjoyed the Mango Mandarin fragrance, and Orange Sapphire just takes that scent to another level. Whereas Mango Mandarin is the sweetheart citrus fragrance, Orange Sapphire is the glam version. Both have the primary orange scent, but Orange Sapphire is more sultry and the notes seem more complicated. I detect a hint of something musky that keeps it from being too sweet. Absorption As with other Signature body lotions, Orange Sapphire absorbs well. In fact, I usually prefer the lotion to the body butter because it absorbs more quickly. Effectiveness Orange Sapphire is a silky soft formula that contains aloe vera, grape seed extract, and vitamins C and E. My skin is scented for hours and feels moist and smooth.

Bath & Body Works Orange Sapphire is a great new scent.

The Orange Saphhire Bath and Bodys works scent smells really good. It has a light enough scent that I can wear it to work and not bother my co workers with the smell. Where I work, we have to be very conscious of others as we are in tight quarters. It is not so strong that it bothers peoples allergies. It is a great all around citrus scent. The lotion is not too heavy and absorbs into the skin quickly. It leaves your skin feeling soft and smooth. It does not leave your body parts feeling greasy like some lotions can. I have never noticed that Bath and Body works lotions make me hot, like some heavy lotions do. I do not have particularly sensitive skin, but sometimes I do break out. With this lotion, I have not noticed any break outs. I would recommend this lotion to any one who just wants a fruity scent. It is not over powering and is not a musky or floral smell.

Bath & Body Works Orange Sapphire Lotion is so luscious!

When it comes to perfumes and scents, I prefer to smell floral rather than like food. However, I have a weak spot when it comes to citrus. I jumped at the opportunity to get Bath & Body Works' Orange Sapphire lotion once I got a chance to smell it. From the bottle, it has a full variety of citrus scents, orange, lemon and even what seems like a bit of mango. The afternote was a bit musky and like vanilla. It was definitely the kind of sophisticated citrus scent that I was looking for. Like all other Bath & Body Works lotions, it did wonders for my skin, keeping it moisturized and fragrant all day. Also like other Bath & Body Works lotions, I found that it had a different smell as I wore it throughout the day. I also detected notes of grapefruit, a favorite scent of mine, and more of the vanilla-like scents emerged. I have been extremely happy with my purchase of this product and would recommend it to anyone that likes citrus scents in their beauty products.

Orange Sapphire smells amazing!

Like almost all Bath and body scents, this one is terrific. I love the smell! When I first bought this I was hessitant about it because I generally don't like orangy citrus-y smells. This scent smelled tangy and very delicious. It is very moisturizing. It doesn't make my hands extremely greasy but it does the job. I'll use this day and night. In my opinion I would really use this as a body lotion just because I feel like it is a little harsh for other areas of skin besides my hands. The price of this product is very affordable, sometimes you can even get it really cheap if you look for the sales and "clearence" boxes. This product is very nice and I would recommend this product. I think I will maybe even buy a few more for my friends and family.

Orange Sapphire Is a Great New Scent

4

Recently, I bought several new Bath and Body Works products during one of their Buy 3, Get 2 Free sales. The new Orange Sapphire scented lotion was one of these products. I love citrus scents as a rule, so I thought I couldn't go wrong with this one. It is a nice scent, but something different than I thought it would be - not as citrusy. It's hard to describe other than saying that. I'm not sure what it is - maybe the amber (I've never really been fond of the amber scents). Still, I'm giving it 4 stars because I love all the Bath and Body Works lotions. They're creamy and hydrating and work really well on my winter-time skin. And the Orange Sapphire scent did start to grow on me after the first few uses. So, if you're a die-hard citrus fan, you might be disappointed with this scent. But, if you like light, flowery/fruity scents as a whole, you might want to give it a try - especially if you can get it when Bath and Body Works is running one of their great sales - like right now.

Yummmy"

Yesterday I bought a trail sized 2fl.oz bottle of Bath and Body Works Orange sapphire. It has an intoxicating fruity scent of blood oranges. The notes of jasmine and honey to me are very faint, I didn't notice a hint of them at all..not that that would have made a difference because I was sold once I took a few sniffs... I'm not usually one that goes for fruit scented lotions or perfumes, but Bath and Bodies Oranges, Mango, and  Pink grapefruit are the exceptions.. because they are not overly powering or sickly. If you like their Pink grapefruit... you'll like their orange sapphire as well...It's enriched with helpful doses of vitamins C and  E, Grape seed extract and Aloe Vera to help sooth and heal dry skin.. a very nice plus...because winter months are hard on my skin. Sapphire orange goes on smooth and light...and smells absolutely yummy". However I'm giving it 4 and a half stars because it fades a little after about 25 minutes or so...and since I'm not one for over powering scents I can excuse this small minus. Go to bath and Body and try out the trail size for only a 1.00..in-fact you can try several Bath and Body products for under 5.00 bucks which is another reason I like Bath and Body... I like to try or test before I buy.   The entire Orange Sapphire collection arrives in stores March the 29th.

Orange with a twist

5

I was first introduced to Bath and Body Works when my son bought me some Mango Mandarin lotion and spray for my birthday.  I immediately fell in love with it and found myself visiting the Bath and Body works store to find more fun stuff.  I now have a cabinet full of sprays and lotions and have a blast every day deciding which scent I want for the day.   On a recent visit I found Orange Sapphire that is very reminiscent of my first Bath and Body Works "love", but has a pleasant twist.  It has a spicy scent mixed in with the refreshing smell of oranges which is a perfect spring/summer scent.  This lotion smooths in easily and evenly in the skin and I find I can use it anywhere.  My skin tends to stay fairly moist over time and the scent lasts quite awhile too.  But if I need to freshen up, it is easy to add more lotion and off I go.  The price is a bit high, but Bath and Body Works is great for sales and coupons to make the price more reasonable.

Smells so good you want to eat it!

I absolutely adore the scent of this lotion. I give it a score of ten!!! But as far s the lotion itself,  not as moistrizing as I would like. It is great to have at your desk for a pick me up through out your day but if you suffer from really dry hands this will only help temporaily  as I do not find it to be longlasting. But the the scent makes it a pleasure to use through out your day. I have a travel size in my bag and on my desk!
