I first encountered this shampoo when I stayed in a hotel that provided it as a complimentary bottle. I was skeptical, figuring that I would have hair that smelled like a fruit basket, and that the 'volumizing' effect would be negligible. When I did try it, I was hooked! My hair really felt fuller, even after using the accompanying conditioner; normally when using conditioner, my hair is flyaway and flat, flat, flat. I love the smell, and vowed to treat myself to a bottle when I returned from my trip. However, I found that Bath and Body Works doesn't carry their signature hair care in their stores (?) and it is only available online, hence the 4 stars, not 5. I might have to look into stockpiling this stuff when it is on sale, which seems to be often! The inability of not being able to walk into a store and buy a bottle is a bit puzzling, and the inconvenience has oftentimes led me to buy other shampoos.

So I have to say that I absolutly love this shampoo, and the conditioner as well. It smells so fresh and every time i use it I am remided of summer. coconut lime verbena is one of my favorite summer scents, and i love the fact that I can have shampoo to go along with the rest of my daily "personal spa" routine. The scent is much more of a lime that a coconut which make it smell clean and summery. There are really only two problems that i have with this product... the first is that i can almost never find it in any of the stores. what i do to get around this is i stock up during the june and january semi anual sale that they have every year.  ( I am also pretty sure that you can buy it online year round, but i always fail to remember that) My only other problem is the fact that the bottle are not quite big enough for my taste, and if you have long hair you can't really count on having it around for very long.

I struggle with the misery of fine, lifeless hair and have tried literally hundreds of products to try to make it look volumized and thick. Some products, even the really expensive ones, do not look any better than if I had washed my hair with crisco. I was stocking up on my beoved lotions at bath and body works when I saw their hair care items were on sale On a whim, I figured I would try the volumizing shampoo, because it was great priced, and if it didnt work, it was way cheaper than some of my past lessons. I was pleasantly suprised to find that the products worked great! It lathered so well, and the smell was intoxicating. I chose coconut lime verbana, but they had numerous other scent options. I used both the shampoo and conditioner, and I rarely use conditioner out of fear that it will weigh my hair down. Again I was happy to find that my hair looked fantastic and had volume and body. At this price, you really cant beat the results.
