Soft and pampering but too light scent

4

This is a rich and thick body butter than pampers my dry skin and leaves behind softer skin that is not oily. And there is a subtle exotic fruity fragrance that hints of oranges and mangoes, and something warm and like a clean rainy day in the background. It's quite pleasant and worth the price. I would only ask that the fragrance be stronger. Scent Subtle and yet it lingers in a fresh soft way without being overpowering. It's nice and pleasant, but not the sort of fragrance that inspires memories or is what I would wear to go out. It's more something to enjoy alone at home. However, my preference would be for it to be stronger, even though it can be slightly smelled on my arms all day. I really like strong fragrances that make statements. Absorption It enriches my skin and absorbs right in and deeply without leaving me greasy. My skin becomes a little stronger and more elastic and looks overall healthier and younger because it firms up loose areas by moistening them. I have areas of the body which have become drier, with a feeling of dry flakiness on the surface, and this body butter makes my skin shine and look radiant. Effectiveness The pleasant effect lasts all day, with my skin improving in looks from dry and creased to more radiant and softer and fuller. If I use this once a day, every day, the effect is maintained. I have noticed the softness of my skin lasts all day.

Love the scent but a bit pricey

Why in the world they discontinued this scent I will never understand. So fresh and happy it is sure to put a smile on your face and make you think of sunshine. If you ever see it try it out and it might become a favorite. As for the body butter itself I am not a huge fan. It is actually pretty pricey compared to the body cream or lotion. The body cream formula is pretty thick itself so I would say if you are on a budget and looking to moisturize that is probably the better deal. I also find the body butter to be a bit oily. Maybe that's just the deep moisturizer working? Whatever is I am going to opt to skip the body butter and just stick with the body cream from Bath and Body Works. Scent One of my favorite. I wish they would stop discontinuing all the citrus and refreshing scents. This xml makes me think of summertime and fresh squeezed orange juice. It is sure to put a smile on your face. Absorption Absorbs pretty easily but left an oily feeling on my skin. It almost made my skin slippery. Not exactly the effect I was going for. Effectiveness It definitely does moisturize but I can't use this product every day because it is a bit pricey and again it leaves my skin a bit oily.

B&BW Body Butter is a great way to pamper your skin!

Whipped, creamy, and super-moisturizing - I love Bath & Body Works Body Butter!  At first I was a little tentative about buying it since it costs more than my usual Body Cream from B&BW, but picked some up during a sale and I'm hooked!   For one thing, I love that it comes in the wide-mouth pot instead of a tube.  You don't have to struggle to get out the last of the lotion in this container. You can get just the amount you need instead. I love how thick and rich this butter is; just perfect for rough elbows and dry winter skin.  The texture is luscious, pampering, and feels so good.  Leaves your skin soft and smooth but not greasy. It does look like a lot of stores have discontinued this particular scent, but Bath & Body Works carries such a wonderful selection of scents, that I can always find one I like.  If you like the citrus fragrances, White Citrus, Pink Grapefruit, and Orange Sapphire are great options too.

Softens and Smells Devine

I'm not one to spend much on beauty products.  I usually purchase a rather inexpensive lotion at the local discount store and use for every body area that needs moisturizing, but after receiving a Bath & Body product one Christmas I was sold!  I love all the Bath & Body products, but I especially enjoy using their body butter.  It's extremely thick and works well on my legs - especially after being shaven, after some sun or in the winter when my skin dries out.  The smell is heavenly, so not only do I benefit from moisturizing, but I leave a positive impression on those I have contact with.

nice orange lotion

I really like the bath and body works line of lotions and bath products, they always work very well and smell extremely nice. The mango mandarin body butter is no exception. I am not a big lotion user so one of these will last me a couple months at least. The thing that I love most about this scent is the fruity, citrus tones and the body butter is great for moisturizing. The only drawback is the way the store promotes its items. They will send you an enticing coupon in the mail, that sounds really good, but when you go to the store they have so many different sales and promotions going on at the same time that don't stack on top of each other, that it seems like you spend forever trying to decide which items you can buy together to get a good deal- if that makes sense. Basically, you can spend a fortune very easily on these products. However, the quality is good enough to make it worthwhile. I also like having everything available in the same scent from body butter to shampoo to soap and whatever else.

deeply moisturizes and softens skin

I discovered this body butter last Fall 2005, I regularly apply lotion to my hands and body but at that time I noticed significant dryness due to change of weather. Back then this came in an elegant container but actually it does not have any effect on the wonderful results of this body butter. A small dullop of this thick creamy mixture goes a long way when applied on your body or just on dry skin areas. The richness of this butter deeply moisturizes skin a lot better than a lotion and it has skin softening ingredients like shea & jojoba butter, vitamin E & B5 and aloe that provides significant results in your feet, elbows, knees, and in any skin area that needs intensive hydration.  This very reasonably priced body butter is definitely a regular mainstay in my beauty regimen for all seasons. I also love the fact that it comes in a container with a twist-off top and not on a dispensing pump or bottle because I'm able to consume the entire content and makes sure that nothing is wasted on the money I spent on it. I love the Mango Mandarin scent, but this also comes in Sparkling Peach, Velvet Tuberose, Fresh Pineapple, Irresistible Apple, Sweet Pea, Black Raspberry Vanilla, Midnight Pomegrenate, and many other scents available in Bath & Body Works.
