Banana Boat Kids Tear-Free Continuous Spray Sunscreen SPF 50 provides good protection from the sun. It applies easily with a smooth spray. It is a good sunscreen protection but not the best I have ever used. But that's a difference that is personal, I prefer to use some of the more eco-friendly sunscreens because I worry about the chemicals, but you use what is available to you or you don't leave your Houston home at all in the summer time.

Effectiveness
In order for this sunscreen to be effective it is important to follow the directions. Make sure to put it on about 15 minutes in advance of going out or getting into the pool. You should also rub it in. Yes, the continuous spray is nice but you have to give it a good rub to get it to absorb and cover the skin entirely.

Scent
I don't care for the scent of coconut or some of the other sunscreens and tanning oils. This one is actually very nice and does not make me want to hold my nose when I apply it.

Absorption
As long as you rub it in a little bit (it really doesn't take much work at all) it absorbs quickly and effectively. Don't just let the spray sit there on your skin or you will end up with it not working well and getting it into your eyes.

I've always been a big fan of Banana Boat so I purchased the Kids Ultramist last summer. I liked the idea of the mist instead of getting it all over my hands while I applied it and having big white streaks all over my kids. My one HUGE complaint about this sunscreen is that while it is tear free, it is only water repellent and must be reapplied whenever your child goes in water. I ended up using triple the amount that I would have used due to all of the reapplications that I had to do everytime my kids got wet. My father had the Banana Boat Sport and we compared ingredients and bottles.  I totally should have gone for the Sport because it's the same SPF but it is waterproof and gives a LOT more protection for you and your child. I would certainly recommend the Banana Boat brand as well as the mist dispenser, but I would recommend getting the Banana Boat Waterproof Sport instead of the Banana Boat Ultra Mist Kids Tear Free SPF 50.

Easy to apply on moving kids!

Comments about Banana Boat Kids Tear-Free Continuous Spray Sunscreen SPF 50:

This summer I have purchased and used Banana Boat Kids Tear-free continuous spray sunscreen with SPF 50 to use on my four children. Overall, I have been very satisfied with this product. The price is comparable to other like products. I like that it has an SPF of 50, and I have found that it has protected my children well and kept them from sunburn. It comes out in a nice mist which offers good coverage without leaving a mess on their skin. It absorbs quite well. One of my boys has fairly sensitive skin, and it has not bothered him at all. I LOVE that it is tear free and because of this I have even used it near their faces. The fragrance is non-offensive, and the kids don't at all mind having this applied. The bottle is easy to use and spray. I like this better than other brands which I have tried, and I will buy it again in the future. I recommend this sunscreen for use on your kids as well as yourself. You won't be disappointed in its performance.

My kids and I love it!

Comments about Banana Boat Kids Tear-Free Continuous Spray Sunscreen SPF 50:

When my daughter was little, we went to the lake with my family.  I obviously wanted to keep her safe from sunburn so I put a little of my sunscreen on her.  My poor daughter got some on her hands though and rubbed it in her eye.  It must have burned because she started screaming and her little eye turned red.  After that incident, I decided to try Banana Boat Ultra Mist Kids sunscreen.  The biggest perk I saw was "Tear free" right on the label.  Just what I needed!

I used it a few days later and loved it!  The bottle has a mister that is easy to use and applies the sunscreen evenly over her body.  I was cautious around her eyes, and if she got any in them, she never complained!  The SPF 50 was awesome and worked well on her sensitive skin.

I was a little concerned having all that sunscreen all over her, but it dried very quickly so I didn't worry for long.

It's been a great product to have with little ones in the house.  I've been very pleased with it and it's effectiveness.  I would definitely recommend this to parents of small kids.

Banana Boat Kids Spray Sunscreen is my favorite kids sunscreen.

Comments about Banana Boat Kids Tear-Free Continuous Spray Sunscreen SPF 50:

I love this product.  It has SPF 50, is alcohol free, very water resistant, and has a lotion ultramist quality which spreads easily on my 3 year old daughter's skin.  It is tear-free which is very important when you have a squirmy child who continuously puts her hands on and near her face and eyes such as I do.  It is also very easy to spray and putting on the sunscreen is twice as fast as using a normal rub-on lotion.  The smell is great.  It says "fragrance free" on the bottle - I feel that it does have a slight scent, but it is very mild, not overpowering.  It also is not as greasy as other sunscreens that I have tried in the past...it still leaves residue if I get it in my daughter's hair, but I have not been able to find a kids sunscreen that does not.  I like the self-locking cap which is so helpful in preventing "accidental" spraying when tossed in a bag.  I also like that the spray works for 80 full minutes before you have to reapply.

Banana Boat for kids is perfect for their sensitive skin

Comments about Banana Boat Kids Tear-Free Continuous Spray Sunscreen SPF 50:

Banana Boat sunscreen for kids is a good choice for kids that's what i think. I actually use that product and they advertise that's this product is tear free, which is true. Before using this product I actually use other branded products but then my experience was after applying those products skin gets red immediate also those were not tear free. When I was using those other branded products for my child i always worry about her skin. But now with the Banana Boat I do not have to worry about her skin, it doesn't get red. What i think about this product is really great for the sensitive skin. With the spray it's really nice to carry. Kids specially likes the spray kind of things so they don't deny to apply. Over all my experience with the Banana Boat ultra mist tear free continuous sunscreen spray for kids is great. It's not oily and most of all it works for my child. she happily let me apply on her skin what else I want.... right.

Banana Boat Ultra Mist works really great on my grandson

We have been using the Banana Boat Ultra Mist Kids Tear Free SPF 50 since summer began.  We have a small pool that he spends 2-3 hours in almost every day.  It is so easy to apply and he doesn't mind at all.  He has not yet been burned or even gotten red at all. We love it and would highly recommend it.

Banana Boat ultra mist Kids didn't mist

By

from Sterling Heights, MI

Comments about Banana Boat Kids Tear-Free Continuous Spray Sunscreen SPF 50:

Banana Boat Ultra Mist Kids tear free spf 50 sprayed  like a stream of lotion. It didn't come out as a mist but as a white lotion. I had to rub it in on the kids and they didn't like standing there waiting. It also came out as a white stream not misty. I was very disappointed because it was too expensive to just throw away. I won't be buying another

Comments about Banana Boat Kids Tear-Free Continuous Spray Sunscreen SPF 50:

Hi Everyone....

Went on vacation last summer with my 7yr old granddaughter. After continuously rubbing a sunscreen lotion on her every-time she go out of the pool, my 17 yr old stepdaughter asked why not make your life easier and get the spray type.Next trip to the store I bought Banana Boat Ultra mist for kids,Tear free is a must. It was the best advice I had gotten.I put it on her half as much as the lotion,it took about a second to spray her all over, even her face. The SPF 50 kept her from ever burning the whole 3 weeks we where in Florida.

GREAT STUFF. I would recommend it to everyone

Comments about Banana Boat Kids Tear-Free Continuous Spray Sunscreen SPF 50:

I love Banana Boat Ultra Mist Kids Tear Free SPF50.  It is so easy to apply evenly without making a mess.  I can even apply it on an active four year old who doesn't stand still for typical suntan lotion to be applied. I am overly protective of my daughter and I trust Banana Boat to protect her skin.  I use it as well because it is so easy to apply.
