I love the Bissel brand, however not this vacuum! It does clean well but it's so clunky it makes cleaning difficult. Its larger so it takes up a lot of closet space. Also, it scratched my hardwood floor :(

Since I have animals and carpet, I needed something that could manage both. This vacuum cleans well and it comes with some interesting accessories that can help you clean pet hair on sofas, blankets, and more. It's light enough to bring everywhere in the house without much effort and it's easy to empty. Maneuverability The vacuum is light enough, the cord is long Ease of Maintenance It's easy to empty and you have to clean the filters regularly... that's about it. There's one of the accessories that is harder to clean though. It's the little turbo brush. All the human and pet hair stay stuck around the brush very tightly. Suction Performance I'm glad with it, though it could be a little stronger for the carpets. Versatility As I already mentionned, the different accessories help you clean different parts of the house. Design No negative point here. Durability I only broke a piece accidently because I dropped it on my ceramic floor. I repaired it with some hot glue and it's alright.

I have two cats, one with medium to long hair, so that means lots of vacuuming. I originally had an upright ureeka and it didn't pick up anything from the carpet. I like that this vacuums comes with a few different attachments and you can change its function from carpet to wood floors. It's also a great size for a small apartment (mine is 400 square feet). BUT, the wheels on the attachment get clogged with hair and it has to be cut out. Also, I like that it is bagels because who wants to be paying for new bags all the time, but the filter needs to be washed constantly and the little rubber lining that creates as seal between the two halves of the canister is impossible to get back into its proper place. I literally have spent maybe 10 minutes trying to get the perfect seal when putting it back together after emptying it! If the filter isn't cleaned regular,army and the seal isn't write than the suction just isn't so great. So overall summary si that I would have given it a 9 but I took away points for all those little annoyances that make it not run smoothly if you don't take the time to properly clean it and put it together. Maneuverability Easy to get under bed or dressers without moving things. Ease of Maintenance Always needs to be emptied. Need to clean filter a lot. Hard to get a perfect seal when putting it back together.
