Sorry, but this sunscreen fell far short
I read the reviews and bought this sunscreen to use on my ultra-sensitive skin for life on the sunny sw gulf coast of florida. Needless to say, I've tried many sunscreens in my time living in this subtropical climate and have been looking for more natural (and preferably organic) products that'll be applied upon my body. Unfortunately, the Aubrey sunscreen had an odd soupy consistency no matter how vigorously I shook it. Even more unusual, it seemed to dissipate if I didn't rub it in quickly enough--that didn't make me feel very protected, if the product would just 'vaporize' into thin air! As an active beach swimmer, I really looked forward to using this organic sunscreen with minimal chemicals...however, as soon as I hit the water, the stuff ran into and stung my eyes horribly. it also became white--in that it appeared to be oozing from my pores when I was sweating in the sun. It felt like I had a 'mask' on, too...ewwww. The product DID protect me from sunburn and didn't irritate my hyper-sensitive facial skin, but between the weird consistency & stinging, I had to return it.
