This dishwasher has very, very few good attributes. This is another product that you get what you pay for. It is not durable, it does not do a good job when it works, and it- even at its low price- is not worth it. Complete waste of time. Mine quite after 3 months of use- and I only used it once a week- if that. I wouldn't recommend this product to anyone. Stay away at all cost. Noise Level Far, far too noisy, a big nuisance, but I could look over that if the product stayed working. Cleaning Time Cleaning time is decent, this is the best feature of a bad product. The time is comparable with other dishwashers out there- but longer than if I'd just done it by hand. Loading Flexibility Limited space, with a fair amount and variety of racks to store things in. Performance Preclean everything before you put it in if you intend for it to come out clean. Design Average design; not an eyesore, nor a work of art. Durability This product quit working after 3 months of sporadic use.

This dishwasher is ok at cleaning the dishes. You must use a lot more soap in order to actually clean the dishes. You must also use liquid soap because if you use powdered soaps than the dishwasher leaves the dishes starchy. The dishwasher is VERY noisy when it cleans, in fact when I turn on the dishwasher while my husband is in the other room he has to turn the TV up very loud in order to hear the TV. There is also not a lot of space for dishes in this dishwasher. It takes about an hour and a half for the dishwasher to go through the cleaning and drying cycle, which is a long time. The durability is pretty good, my 30 pound baby will climb on the dishwasher lid before I have a chance to get him down and it will not break.

This has got to be GE's cheapest dishwasher that they have ever made. I am in a rental that had a Kitchen Aide dishwasher and it worked great for the ten years that I used it and to be honest I don't know how many years it was used before me. Unfortunately a part went bad on that machine that they don't make anymore. Out it came and my cheap Landlord replaced it with a cheaper than him dishwasher. When you start the thing it sounds like a tank so if I'm watching television in the open living space then I have to turn the program up real loud. The first load of dishes that I ran through was still dirty, especially the top rack. This GE comes with a spinner at the bottom that sprays most of the dishes on the bottom rack but doesn't have one for the upper rack like my old machine. There is a plastic tube that telescopes out of the bottom spinner to get the top rack clean but never does. I have used the machine four times now and am ready to quit using it. I feel that I am just wasting money running it because when it is all done I am spending time checking each piece out and putting most of the dishes right back in. The only thing I see that it would be good for is to hold a few dirty dishes until I get enough to wash by hand. I would not recommend this to any family or friend, not even an enemy if I had one. Total garbage!

Dishwasher is awful, it does not clean my dishes the way I expect a dishwasher to clean a dish.  Most of the time, I have to take the dishes out and hand wash at least 2 or 3 especially the pots and pans.  I have a dishwasher for a reason (so that I don't have to do them by hand) So not only am I wasting my time, but I'm also wasting water and soap.  Not a great machine at all, would not suggest it to ANYONE!
