After my fourth child I retreated back into puberty....I have had breakouts now for a couple of years.  This has been worse than when I was an actual teenager.  I tried proactive, but found it was too expensive, and time consuming to order.  I tried acne free, and have not regretted… read full review »

I was so excited-after all the TV commercials for Pro-Active have such wonderful before and after pictures and such huge celebrity endorsements and then there are the infomercials-all of which drive up the price.  So, in reading the box, and the claims of university medical center testing and… read full review »

I purchased this three part cleansing system a little over a month ago. I have normal, clear skin that rarely gets a blemish. However because of the recent switch I made in foundations, I began noticing small blackheads around the corners of my nose and on my chin. I immediately ran to the store and picked up the best thing I could find and it was Acne-Free claiming it was just as good as the infamous Pro-Active solution. So I decided to give it a try assuming it was the best product on the shelf. Well to my dismay, this product has actually worsened my facial condition. I used it to the… read full review »

WORKS LIKE PROACTIV, BUT CHEAPER! — AcneFree is an EXCELLENT product. It's only about $30 for the 3 step system at your local drug store. I've found it for as little as $15 including shipping for the system online. — Yet, despite its great price, it offers the same great acne fighting ingredients and protection as the popular Proactiv line. I used to use Proactiv, and loved what it did for my skin, but couldn't afford to keep it up. When I found AcneFree, I thought I was in heaven b/c it was just like using Proactiv, but I could finally afford it! — Easy to use. Comes with… read full review »

After a few years of my preteen stage went by and i suffered without treatment for my acne my aunt purchased ProActive for me from a infomercial. It was the answer to all my prayers, but as a married woman and mother of 3 I am thankful that years ago I found the advantages of the AcneFree system available at Walmart (and other retailers) for a fraction of the price. The Acne Free system is just as amazing as ProActive, and it is only around $30.  Even if you're more limited financially, you can purchase the cleasnser by itself for around $9.  This product keeps my skin… read full review »

I needed to find a product that kept my skin clear without trying it out.  I didn't want to pay the price for proactive, and I had been jumping around trying different skin products with some success but I was not completely satisfied. — Acnefree is wonderful,  it keeps my skin clear, but not dried out.  I haven't had any major breakouts in months (knock on wood!), and I love that it's only around $20.  I don't have luck with products that use salicylic acid, I need one with BP.  Acnefree is the one for me! —… read full review »

Cleanser does not do a good job of....cleansing.  I would recommend using a mild cleanser to remove dirt and makeup before using this cleanser.  The lotion is very sticky.  Results were no better than most less expensive brands.  Although at first it seemed to clear my acne up, the acne returned after about a month of… read full review »

if i actually had the time to do all the things you  had to do with the system, i wouldn't have as many breakouts as i do.  it is just impossible to take the time when we have such busy schedules. scrubbing in the shower is fine, but astringent, wait to dry, then facial lotion ...wait to dry ...then make-up .....  too… read full review »

After using this product for a couple of days my skin was clearer than it had ever been. Unforunatley after about a week my skin was dry and I felt like I had a sunburn. I even tried to use it every other day but my skin was still very dry. It is probably a great product if you have oily skin and don't suffer from dry skin as I… read full review »

I DO NOT LIKE THIS FACE WASH! It dries out my face and it irritates it. Even my friends don't like it it is to expensive for how it works. I can buy it for the same price as proactive and proactive works better. It's a waste of money and time. DON'T BUY THIS FACE WASH EVER! i WILL NEVER EVER USE THIS PRODUCT AGAIN! —… read full review »

I used Proactiv for years until I found AcneFree. I found that it works faster than Proactiv did and it keeps my skin clearer all the time. With Proactiv, sometimes it would work, but every now and then my skin would start to breakout terribly. AcneFree works way better, and it's cheaper than… read full review »
