This elfa system designed by the container store is an amazing product. It basically doubles the storage space of any closet or room. The talented customer service representative at elfa took the measurements of my room and helped me design an unbelievable small room into a great and big storage room! I still can't believe how much I can fit in there and still have the room look neat. I actually just showed my storage room to a neighbor that's struggling with organization and she's awed with the service and ideas that container store and elfa offer. In addition, I love every single product sold at the container store. I'm almost ashamed to confess that this is my favorite store in NYC! !! I love to go there to get ideas how to organize my kitchen, toys, home office, storage room, etc. The atmosphere is so calm and everyone is so smiley and helpful. I would recommend the elfa system and the container store to everyone.

I have an Elfa system in every single closet in my house. My kitchen pantry, my linen closet, all of our bedroom closets, playroom, even in my craft room. They are so versatile, you can design them to fit your space and needs exactly and when your needs change everything is very easily adjustable. I am able to move things around without my husband's help. As my daughter has grown, her closet needs have changed and this system changes right along with her. You can also purchase Elfa door systems that go on the back of your closet doors for additional storage space. There are several different sized baskets you can purchase and put anywhere you like on the rail system and again these are very easily adjusted when your needs change. I put one on the back of my linen closet door and was able to get our entire collection of medicines, band aids, etc on it. This freed up my linen closet for just towels and stuff, it gave me a ton of extra space! I am also able to switch different pieces from closet to closet as my family's needs change. This system can be a bit expensive but if you wait until it goes on sale every year, it is totally worth it.

I moved into my house more than a year ago.  Luckily, the people who lived here before me installed ELFA shelving from the Container Store.  These shelves are versitile and I can get compatible parts.  I recently rearranged my shelving to better suit my needs without spending much money.  It is easy to work with since everything is compatible.  Shelves, drawers, hanging things and everything else is made to easily use the same attachment design.    I have these shelves in the laundry room and the garage.  I removed them from my son's closet to put more in the garage.  The shelves are easily over 8' long, giving ample storage space for all my needs.  I am looking forward to parking two cars in the garage this winter! I also appreciate the wire shelving attribute  that dirt just falls through rather than piling up on the shelves.  I would recommend ELFA shelving for all storage needs.

If you don't know what Elfa is you need to get acquainted with it fast! Go to a Container Store and check it out because it will change how you do closets forever! The shelving system allows you to design your own closet, and more importantly, change the layout whenever you want. It's shelving, racks, basket options are super diverse so they can adapt to all your needs. We recently did our broom closet and added twice as much space as we had, and it's now very well organized and makes getting to things very easy. We installed it ourselves and only had to drill three holes for the entire closet, since it all hangs from a sturdy utility track at the top. We love what it has done for our broom closet and can't wait to do our bedroom one.
