I purchased this monitor during black friday 2007 at best buy. I purchased it online rather than at the actual store itself, and this was my first flat screen monitor. I used to have an LCD monitor which took too much space and the resolution was not very good. However, this monitor was amazing and the color and brightness is definitely what appealed to me the most. I am currently hooking this up through DVI. There are definitely better monitors out there right now but this monitor is still going strong for me. The only thing I can think of complaining about is that the power button sometimes does not respond when I press it. However this only takes two clicks before it responds and does what it is meant to do. I hope this monitor lasts me a couple more years. There are no dead pixels and everything seems good as new despite the power button situation. I still give this product the full five stars.
