I am the undisputed Air Hockey Queen of my family, and having grown up with an air hockey table to play with any time I wanted, I have been missing one since I moved out years ago. Luckily, I came across a great sale price for the MD Sports Tournament Cup 7 ft. Air Hockey Table with Bonus Table Tennis Top at a local sporting goods store, and I couldn't resist. It is very heavy (to me, but I am a small woman so take that in consideration), so make sure you set it up where you want to keep it for a while. The heaviness of the table is fine with me, though, because it feels sturdy and well made. It's quite easy to switch from the air hockey to the table tennis surface, which is nice if you are in the mood for a change of scenery. The air hockey surface is very smooth and puts out plenty of air to make the puck travel smoothly. I have noticed that the pucks are very light weight which can be problematic if you use too much force when smacking them like I do on occasion. The table is easily cleaned, very user friendly, and after two years of use, still in very good shape. I have nothing but wonderful things to say about this combo. Definitely worth the price!

I was very excited to purchase this air hockey table, as I was always a fan of playing this particular game. Luckily, I was able to get it on sale, which made it more desirable to purchase. I loved that it can easily be converted into table tennis as well! Although we don't use that feature that often, it is nice to have as an alternative when guests are over. As for the product itself, I think that it is rather sturdy and durable. There have been many instances where the game-playing would become intense and I am glad that slamming into the table does not affect it at all. One complaint about the table I have, however, is that the pucks that were provided do seem at times a little light. This affects game play when all of a sudden the puck may fly off the table. Other than that, I would have to say that this was a very good investment. I am sure that it will last many years, and for the price that we paid, it is definitely worth it.

I give this air hockey table an eight out of ten. This is because I feel like sometimes the pucks are too light and fly off the table if you really use force to hit them. This makes the game not as fun for two adults playing the game. Also, after years of use, it seems like the air is not blowing as hard as it once did. This makes the puck travel more slowly on the table. The table itself has really stood up to the use though. The paint is still in perfect condition even after tons of use throughout the years and a beating from the handles. Even after moving the table several times and leaving it without use for many months it still works wonderfully and has no scratches, dings, or damage from moving it. The height of the table is also perfect for either short or tall people. The added bonus of having it convert into a tabletop tennis board is what made me purchase it in the first place, but I rarely use the tennis style because the hockey is such a big hit. As an unintended bonus you can use the table for more fun games at parties like beer pong. I recommend this model.

My mom purchased this for the grandkids this past Christmas and my kids love it! We are all big air hockey fans so that is always being played. However, I had the pleasure of being able to teach my two oldest kids how to play table tennis because they had no idea! I love the versatility of the table. It's super easy to switch it back and forth from air hockey to table tennis. My fourteen year old and twelve year old can switch it over by their selves which is important because I work a lot and this is something they do to occupy their time when I have to work late. The air vents are top quality and allow the puck to slide easily across the table which I've seen be an issue for some other air hockey tables owned by other friends and family members. I will say this table is quite heavy so when we move in a couple months it is one thing I am not looking forward to hauling out of the basement. However, with all the enjoyment my family receives from this table that one down fall is not enough for me to give it any less than a ten as an overall rating.

I purchased this air hockey table to put in out game room. I wanted something that was different than a ping pong table or a foosball table at the MD air hockey table fit the bill. The first thing I noticed is its a pretty attractive air hockey table without being overly flashy. Meaning it doesn't have a bunch of extras that are going to get in the way or make it bulky when they are essentially unneeded. The second thing I noticed after getting it set up is how sturdy it is. It's much sturdier than I thought a "at home" air hockey table would be. We tend to spill a lot of stuff when playing in the game room, it's just a part of life. And I was a little worried how this would hold up to ketchup, chilli, mustard and various beverages. I was surprised. It's very very easy to clean, just a wet rag to wipe up and you're good to go. For the price, I would say it's the best deal you're going to get. I priced and looked at several different air hockey tables before settling on and buying this one, and this is for sure the best of the ones I researched. It also has the added table tennis top, which we've used a couple times and it holds up well. We decided to do a family gift this year and decided on a air hockey game. After checking stores for prices, sizes and quality, we decided on the Sports Tournament table.It is solid, doesn't slide around if someone bumps it and you can play a tennis game as well. We quickly found out that our gang loves the air hockey and we might as well have just got that but we have it in case later on they want a change. The design of the table is attractive and it is easy to switch to one game or the other. The puck moves smoothly and fast. The legs are adjustable and adults find it comfortable to play as well as kids. I was surprised at how much the adults play this game as well as the kids and it's fun to have the kids friends want to be at our house. Its a easy to learn game and even grandma and grandpa have joined the kids in games. It is attractive and has everything built in to make for a fun evening with the family. It even keeps score .The only drawback is the 7 foot size as you also need to allow room at each end for the players. We had to do some rearranging to make room but it's been worth it.

The MD Sports Tournament Cup Air Hockey Table is a fantastic addition to any private gaming room. I purchased this for my basement man cave and could not be more happy with the results. This is your standard sized air hockey table. It stands a little over 4 feet, and is about 7 feet long. The accessories and table itself is made of good quality materials, and does not feel like it would chip or break due to hard use. The air flow is even across the board allowing the puck to glide with ease. The motor is very quiet compared to other air hockey tables I have used in the past. There is also an option to convert this table into a ping pong tennis table set as well. Since I already own a ping pong table, I rarely use this one. However I will say that it is pretty much a standard table. Overall I could not be more happy with this set. It can take a good beating from rough game play, and wont break on you.
